A gem of Oakville. Liked everything except dover sole. It was not cooked perfectly. Very mushy and not at all crispy. The chef couldn’t justify the fish. The salads and desserts were really good. I like the staff their as they are really accommodating and helpful.

Everything was amazing from the service, to the atmosphere, to the menu!Went for lunch twice had a fabulous bottle of wine - their wine menu is insane some super cool bottles that are hard to get your hands onI’ve attached a few photos of our meal - the steak we got I believe was a strip loin and it was from PEI - was recommended by our server and definetly didn’t disappointWe brought our 5 month year old daughter and they were super accommodating to herFor sure would recommend this place and for sure would return!

Absolutely fantastic place with great atmosphere. The service was really good and very attentive and pleasant. The wine selection was plentiful and the food was perfect.

Anyone complaining, clearly were dinning outside of their budget. If you take it for what it is, as a higher-end restaurant, then Oliver’s really provides an amazing experience.To go over the food briefly, the seafood platter was nice and fresh, and pre-cut to make the eating experience easy going. The steaks, I must say, we’re top notch. Don’t be afraid to go for the wagyu steaks as your choice for the night. Its on the smaller side of the steak options but for lack of size it compensates by blowing your mind with flavour. Sometimes good things come in small packages.The drinks, caught me off guard with the prices, but if you’re brave enough they actually some of the finest cocktails I ever had. That’s saying a lot considering how many bars I’ve been to around Europe.Overall, I would recommend if you’re looking for a nice evening out.

Very nice restaurant, the atmosphere is top notch. The service, at the beginning, was amazing. Super attentive and responsive, but once we had our meals, we couldn't flag anyone down to top off our waters or to even give us the bill. Our water glasses were sitting at empty for most of the evening, probably so we could order more wine.They do have Japanese Wagyu, which were very good, just very fatty. Also, you're already paying $200 per 6oz Japanese Wagyu, one would assume it would come with sides. But alas, we still had to order their $20+ (each) sides to share amongst the table as when you order their Wagyu, that's all that comes, just the meat, and nothing extra to help break up the fattiness.Overall, it was fun to try once. But the service was not up to par for us to come again, and the Wagyu is definitely too fatty to just eat as a 6oz steak. For the record, 5 people ordered the Japanese Wagyu + desserts and a bottle of wine, you'd think our table spent enough money for our water glasses to be kept full.

I went here this past Monday with my family to for my birthday with my family. We had a really lovely experience, the restaurant is very nice inside, the service is impeccable and the food was fantastic. We ordered the seafood plater as an appetizer, they gave us a complimentary amuse bouche, my brother and I both had steaks as our main and my mother had the lobster gnocchi. For sides we had the rapini and what I think were the best mashed potato's I have ever had. For dessert my brother had the cheese cake and they brought a complimentary cheesecake with Happy Birthday written in chocolate on the plate which was a nice touch. The cheesecake was also fantastic. I could not think of anything that I would fault them on. If you are looking to have a nice dinner, I highly recommend Oliver's

First time at Oliver's last night. The service, start to finish, was fantastic. Very attentive staff and a beautiful restaurant.The steaks were fantastic. We were big fans of the Argentinian ribeye. The surf & turf is $40 more expensive in restaurant than it was on their menu online and honestly not worth it. The tenderloin was great but for 1 crab leg and half a lobster tail, 1 shrimp and a couple dabs of mashed potato it's just overpriced. The charcuterie board was fairly solid, although 1 truffle item is definitely enough. Got a side of mash and onions rings and the onion rings were disappointing. Onion was crazy thick and the batter should really be crispy with that size of onion. Finally their house bread was incredible.
