Menjiro Ramen
I decided to drop into Menjiro for a late lunch a bit ago. This is a three star review as they missed on a couple things and I wouldn't go back personally. One thing was the bottle they placed on my table for water had a lot of water stains on it, which makes me wonder when it gets cleaned if ever? That's not a good sign at a restaurant.Anyways onto the food, I went with a Pork Ramen and Gyoza. The Gyoza were good, though $8.45 for only 5 pieces. The Ramen did disappoint as the broth tasted bland/watered down to me? There wasn't any depth of flavor. I can remember thinking to myself that the Ramen in bowls at costco, you know the ones you can buy 6 of in a case? Those had better broth which was really sad.The meat was plentiful in the bowl and enjoyable, so that was nice and the noodles were okay.

Ramen taste is superb, I like it.The tempura is not that good, quite expensive and the portion is quite small. The udon is ok. The takoyaki is also good. The staff are nice. Expect to give mandatory 15% tip if you are coming with 6+ persons with you.I will definitely come back just for ramen though

Came in for lunch and ordered the spicy red dragon ramen and the tonkotsu ramen. The food was comparable to other ramen places in Edmonton. What reduced the overall dining experience was spotty, sporadic service. We had to ask for items which should have been done automatically like checking if drinks are needed and utensils.

The broth was sooo flavorful and creamy. I have eaten at all the ramen joints in the city, and this one is by far the best.

Best Ramen I've had in the city to date. Everything was bursting with flavor. I chose something on the waitresses recommendation and I did not regret it. Can't wait to come here more and eventually try every soup they have!

I had the goma tan tan. I didn't like it; the broth tasted strange. The takoyaki was pretty good, though... slightly too salty, but they had big pieces of octopus. The chicken karage was very nice - lightly battered and crispy, with a really yummy sauce.

I didn't try anything else but only tonkotsu ramen. The taste was good so I bet other foods are good. The price and location was pretty good as well.

Must try ramen in Edmonton. The broth was so tasty, the meat so tender, and the noodle so yummy. Don’t forget to try the karaage chicken. Definitely will come again and will recommend it to my friends. The place also quite spacious and good for family. The staff was very nice and friendly. Love it!

As someone who just came back from japan trip, this is delicious ramen.I got the standard tonkotsu and it did not disappoint. The broth was very savory, but the noodles were only ok.One thing to note is the price, its pretty pricy. The bowl itself is around $13, however I had to order cha shu and egg as extra as it did not come with it, so its about $20 for the ramen.Basically what it comes down to is that its pricey, but delicious.

I have been here several times and the noodles never disappoint me. My favorite is Black Garlic Ramen with charred pork shoulder and extra egg . The broth is favorable and rich. Our server was attentive and friendly and their location is great.
