Best Green Hedges responded quickly to my request for a quote and provided a detailed outline of the work they would be performing. I originally wanted new hedges planted in addition to trimming the existing hedges. They were honest and informed me that new hedges would not grow in the area due to heavy shade.They did an excellent job trimming the hedges and now I know why so many of my neighbours used their services. I would definitely recommend contacting Best Green Hedges when looking for hedge trimming services.

Excellent quality, done quickly and with care! Their two-man team produced excellent results. There were no surprises because they would check with me before tackling tricky areas. Overall I was impressed with their professional manner and fast, excellent work. On the business side they were also easy to work with because they use modern and convenient online estimating, billing, and payment tools. I'm already booked for a trim next year!

My neighbour hired BGH to do her hedges, and asked if I was interested in having mine done. I spoke with BGH and agreed they would come by when they did hers to discuss what I wanted done (my back yard has a rear hedge and the side hedge I share with my neighbour - left and right in the picture). Unfortunately, my car wasn't in my driveway so they assumed I wasn't home and didn't come by. I called and left a voicemail asking what happened, and received a call back, and a promise what someone would come by either that day (Friday) or the following Monday. Unfortunately, nobody showed.I decided to give it one more try, and called again. We set up another time, and the owner came by to apologize for missing previously, and provide an estimate. We had a detailed discussion about how the back and side hedges were overgrown and needed to be beaten back. However, he needed to send another person to come by to provide the official estimate another time. When that person arrived, we had another detailed conversation about how the back and side hedges were overgrown and needed to be beaten back, as well as adding the small hedge in the front yard. He quickly provided an estimate for the work (the price was very fair), and I gave the go ahead to do the work while I was away on vacation. When I returned, I checked out the work, and it was great - at least, the portion that was completed. Only the rear hedge and the small one in the front yard had been trimmed - the shared one in the back yard was untouched. I was confused, so I checked the quote and, sure enough, it omitted the side hedge in the back.I received the invoice for the work by email, and replied to the owner saying I was surprised to see about 40% of the work not done and, while acknowledging the work reflected the quote, noted the quote did not reflect the conversations we had and that I would not have given the go-ahead for a partial job. I never heard back, so I assume they're content with the job.I'm torn. On the one hand, I clearly should have read the quote more clearly to ensure it was exactly what I wanted done. On the other hand, it's simply bizarre to me that the quote would not include what we had discussed 10 minutes before. It's also bizarre that the crew would show up to trim a hedge and leave a hedge untrimmed.So, to me, that's worth 3/5 stars: they do great work, but are tricky administratively. If you can put in the time to get them to actually show up, and to triple-check all paperwork, then I recommend them because the work is great.

Very professional, they always do a great job keeping our 20’ high cedar hedges beautiful. Easy to deal with. We've been customers for at least 5 years. Highly recommend.

I was sold and paid for bushy cultivated cedar 5 to 6’ trees and I got 4’ to 5’ Charlie Brown Christmas trees. I was so upset and I am still are after 19 months. More upset when I see my neighbor’s cedar hedge and they are cultivated and bushy. I could see the difference and I did raise it up when they were installed. I got them to lower the price but still it wasn't what I paid for. I know it has been a long time and did not write a review then, buy people need to know that they are not honest when selling trees, promises and once they are in the ground it is very hard to get them removed. All I have to suggest is ask them to see the trees before they plan them and choose your own trees.

As usual, Best Green Hedges does a great job on our hedge which is very tall and lots to trim. They arrive on time and clean up after a full days work is completed to perfection. Recommend for sure.

Had Sheldon and his team plant 230 5 ft cedars on my property May 2017. A year later all are thriving with some nearing 7 ft tall. From start to finish Sheldon was professional and responded to emails/phone calls in a timely manner. Noticed lots of reviews for hedge trimming, but definitely consider Best Green Hedges for your planting needs.
