Follow entire puja process... like the way temple is built

I had a great experience earlier during a yagna, few weeks earlier. But recent behavior of the priest was very disappointing. He was more focused on getting money than services or charity. We went there to offer water to Shivling in these auspicious days of Savan. The priest asked me $21.00 to allow me to offer water!! When we denied and about leave after offering the prayers, he said just for one time, I am allowing you to offer water without paying money!!The religious places had always been centered around the ideals of selflessness, charity and service. I expected the priest to encourage these values and create an environment of humility, generosity and compassion, rather than monetizing religious rituals.While I understand that temples rely on donations for their upkeep and maintenance, this particular incident felt like an unfortunate deviation from the core values.

Pleasant place to spend time…I was so pleased to step into the temple. Lord Shiva,Murugan ,Ayyappa each and every idol over there is simply superb…Worthy visit for the people over calgary.

Very cool place to go for a visit. The building on the inside is not at all what I expected. Its huge, the top floor will leave you breathless!

I visited a week ago the temple was closed without any notice. I called them many times, and no one answered the phone. 100 km drive waste. Disappointment.

Very good Murugan Temple in Calgary. It is very bright place and the facility has ample space for the devotees to sit. The temple has other deities as well including Lord Pilaiyar, Ayyappan, Perumal, Amman, Navagraham, Anjaneyar, Bairavar. This place can be more calm on regular days

One of the many best temples in and around Calgary located nearby Cross Iron Mills. Weekdays aren't that busy if anyone want to spend sometime peacefully meditating at temple. Weekends also great location to visit and attain devotional experience. Priests and temple staff are very friendly and accommodative. Please donate and support to the possible extent and to keep the spirits of temple administrators high.

With utmost disappointment I’m writing this review and I hope the management changes their behaviour. Earlier I used to have a good opinion on this temple, but these days the priests have become selfish and greed for money. They only offer tirtha if you donate money or else do archakam. Never expected this treatment from the priest.
