tbh this place isn't bad its just that there are no opportunities and very unreasonable rules, we have nearly no assemblies or field trips . what a bummer

Great location next to Recreation Center, large fields with many music, sports, and academic opportunities.

I went there for grade 8 and it was the worst experience ever. I feel bad for a lot of the innocent students who may end up there in the future. I didn't feel safe there, as there was this one student who kept picking on me for no reason. And the school did nothing! I swear that Howe doesn't really care for its students. (At least that's what it seemed back then). W. J. Mouat is ten times better. Sorry, Howe, but I got emotionally damaged there. I am so glad it was only the one year.

Joel Noftle was the music teacher here @Howe Middle. There isn't enough that I can say about him. His devotion & dedication is impeccable. He truly is invaluableIn this next statement, I'm NOT referring to JNI truly believe that the public education system in this country is failing on many different levels. I find it appalling when far-left fascist teachers use the system to their advantage, so they can ostracize students because of their ethnicity, race, or religion. E.g. Gaslighting

Worst middle school in Abbotsford the teachers don’t care about your education and make room for no effort in assignments. I’ve been a student in this school for 3 year's. And recommend you not going to this school if you want good education.

I agree with the fore mentioned reviews. This school puts in little effort, dropping music and other programs for years without replacement. The last weeks of classes were primary school Disney Princess movies on the daily and walking kids to local parks for full days with little direction, attention or educational purpose. Don’t expect communication, don’t expect educational outcomes to accompany their field trips and don’t expect a grad or celebration to attend with your 8th grader when leaving for high school.

I swear on my life this school is crazy . If you are coming here from a different elementary other than Clearbrook (that was peaceful with not much drama most of the time) , be prepared , cause the kids from Clearbrook are kinda zany kinda crazy!! but anyway the staff is pretty neat right now and they have counselling and a whole room for you to cool down in so yeah by the way u wont be accepted here if you're along the guidelines of different (aka a furry, someone who still says old jokes, cosplayer, etc.) but the experience here is really good as long as you're with the right people. About the education for the first few months I was here I didn't really feel like I was learning that much.

I was born on this property in the summer of 1942 when my parents farmed here on 30 acres stretching from Clearbrook Road to Trethewey Road, including Mouat Sec. I lived here from the day I was born until I left to attend UBC. I buried my favourite dog Trigger under what is now the Mouat soccer field. The School Board didn't give my parents much choice when they set theirs eyes on buying the property.
