First off not their fault but it's close to a main train track. You can actually feel the shake in the room. Second the rooms are dated and small. The worst part for me was the really small and clogged shower. Another fun fact was they turned the heat off during the day to save power. Maybe do this for vacant rooms but not with paying customers. I don't think there are many options in Gull Lake and it definitely is not even close to the worst place I've stayed in over the years. Just an older building and owners are trying to save costs. Still works for your basic shelter needs

Would not allow 2 women (one pregnant) and 3 children to stay during a winter storm because the CHILDREN did not have proof of vaccination. Shame on you!!!!!

The service was fine and the owners were very friendly. The bathroom floor was ripped at the sides and there was no coffee pot in the room. Overall satisfactory

This establishment turned away a mother and small child in a blizzard that closed the highways. They were forced to spend 12 hrs. in the vehicle. Absolutely disgracefully.

I was informed that a mother and 3 kids were turned away from this grimey motel because the kids weren't vaxxed. They are KIDS for christ sakes!!!! They were sent on to drive on the horrible roads until they reached Swift Current. So disgusting

I was denied a room last Sunday due to the children I was with not being vaccinated. They were aged 11,10 and 3. She argued with about then having central heating so the kids needed to be vaccinated. I explained children under 12 have never been forced to show a QR code for anything. She kept telling me to call somewhere else. I did call the other motel, they were full until March. So the kids and I had to travel to swift during horribly icy highway conditions.

The place was fine for a night sleep. So glad they followed Covid rules to keep everyone safe. If you are pregnant, with kids, and a snow storm don't go out.

Very very low budgeted Inn to stay. Rooms are in great need of updating. No dining offered here, you must drive across the highway to eat. Water is not drinkable in this town at all. Not impressed at all with this place. Do not stop here if you want to sleep comfortably.
