The vast open space, scenery, trails and walking paths, make this a lovely place to spend time with your dog. Highly recommend.

Hermitage Dog Park
I love taking my dog to Hermitage Dog Park! It's never overly busy when we go in the afternoons. Everyone I meet or pass by on the trail is very friendly and I have yet to see a dog fight break out (although I hope I never do).This past weekend, I was so focused on taking photos of my dog that I didn't realize I had dropped her leash. I retraced my steps along the path and 15 minutes later, saw that someone had hung the leash up on a tree branch for me to find. Thank you so much to the kind individual who did that!

Beautiful, clean 4K trail with lots of space for all the dogs to play and run off leash. There are two wooded trails off the main path that we love.

Hermitage Dog Park
The puppy park is great in the winter when the lake in the middle of the park is frozen. We don't come very often in the summer, as our dog loves to go straight for the blue/green water in the centre lake. However, there is a nice side trail that takes you down to the river!

Great park, Most people are kind enough to pick up their dog feces and respect the rules.However there are encampments just up Kenndale Ravine but not nearly as bad as the River Valley which has become unsafe to go of the paved walk ways.

If the weather is nice and you are ok with geese sound it is a very nice place for hiking, biking and picnic
