The portions are gigantic! The service is fast and friendly. The poutine is sooo good! The meat was great on the Reuben. I like my bread a little more toasty and with a little more Russian dressing but other than that, a great place to check out!

Dunn’s was the smoked meat experience I was looking for while visiting Montreal for the first time. No wait and speedy, friendly service on a Sunday at lunchtime. The le petite combo was a perfect portion. Really tender meat with no fat and delicious fries and cole slaw on the side. Also enjoyed the Reuben but if I had to choose between the two I’d keep it simple with the le petite combo.

I visited on 3/22/23. I ordered the le petite smoked meat combo. I upgraded my fries to poutine and doing this will never disappoint, trust me. The meal was delicious! And they have Diet Pepsi which I love too. Place was very clean, wait staff were nice, spoke English, were prompt. I got in right away, it was a Wednesday night. Definite must try!!

Dunns makes you go why can't we have one in my area. Seriously, they need to franchise this place around the world. The food is so tasty.I got the smoked sandwich. The meat was so tender. I loved the spices used. I kept eating when I was full. I'd go back to Montreal just for the sandwich.The fries and coleslaw are good. They are what you would expect. The menu had a ton of options.The staff was courteous. They also got our food out way quick. It made it easy to catch our flight, and eat the best food of Montreal. This place is a must.The interior is fun. They have one table of a Monopoly board, and another of Pac Man. This place knows how to have fun and make incredible food.

I was really looking forward to tasting the smoked meats of Montreal. However, the meat was nice, but there was absolutely no smokiness to it. It almost tasted like it was boiled rather than smoked.Saying all the above, it was tasty, tender, and juicy. I would have it again, but it would have been so much better if there was smoke in the flavour.Service is good, and the atmosphere was relaxed and chilled.

First time eating a smoked meat sandwich since... Many years ago. I didn't like them back then but now, they are delicious! The meat fell apart and the fries were really good. Radar was our server and was very attentive. He did a great job. I really liked the atmosphere, it reminded me of an old restaurant I visited when I came to Canada which was very homey. I would definitely eat there again.

The best Montreal smoked meat I've ever tried!! The meat was so warm, tasty and literally melt in my mouth. Everything was fresh and very wekk made. The basic combo was a great portion and I was so full so did not have a chance to taste their amazing strawberry cheesecake which was also one of their signature items. Will definitely come back for it. Highly recommended!!

We would like to try a classic poutine, but it’s disappointing. Fries is not fresh and not enough gravy.Service is bad, maybe we order not as many as waiter’s expectation.Restaurant design is good, but tables and chairs are not clean.Overall a bad experience to having lunch here.

On seeing great reviews online, we went to Dunn's on a weekday for dinner. We ordered the Dunn's Sandwich and Dunn's Burger along with some pop and water.The only thing good about the whole experience was the burger.We had to wait extremely long for our order to be delivered. I specifically asked for water 3 times before I was served it. The staff would not make eye contact and generally felt cold towards our table while they were happily chatting away amongst each other. The sandwich was below average.The whole experience was not enjoyable and I would not recommend anyone to go there unless they are taking out the burger.

Always love going here when I’m downtown just off St Catherine’s. Smoke meat medium fries and a beer. Had a chat with Jenny the server who’s been there for over 15 years . Always makes me happy going here.
