Marmot Concrete Services Ltd.

The developer in my neighborhood brought Marmot in to replace damaged sidewalks. The new sidewalks they poured are uneven and don't line up with the existing bits they left. After the pour they put the barricades on the freshly poured concrete which left nice barricade shaped impressions in the concrete. They also managed to damage a lot of the sidewalk concrete that they didn't replace. They left random piles of concrete in several places and didn't come back to repair the yards they tore up to put in the forms. So the net result after all their work is a bunch of concrete that's in worse shape than what was there before they showed up.

I was turning right onto McKnight and your driver T050 was turning left onto McKnight. Your driver changed lanes in his turn and almost hit me. He honked as if I was n the wrong. The law clearly states that you cannot change lanes in a turn. Please instruct your drivers on the rules of the road!

This company did a great job in my community, love my new sidewalk

Extremely unprofessional. Broke our sprinkler while attempting to fix the side walk. When we addressed it with them they yelled and insulted my mother. They refused to believe that it was broken even with the large crack down the side of it. The most frustrating part of all is that my dad told them that there is a sprinkler in the ground and to watch out, my dad even went as far as placing a bright orange flag highlighting where the sprinkler is.After all the arguing the man rudely snatched the sprinkler from my hand and sped off (slight wheel squeal) on a community road.

This is the most disorganized, disorderly field staff with a knack for misplaced priority. They are also very slow and unbothered with the pain they inflict on property owners on their work location.How can you rip off the pedestrian walk on a driveway and leave if unattended for over 3 weeks and be focused on the Pedestrian walk around a playground while denying the property owners from accessing and using their driveway.Common sense requires that driveways should be fixed first before side curves and playground Pedestrian walk paths.In a sane clime, Marmot should not be having contract jobs. They don't seem to be professionals and are confused with what is what""

Horrible drivers. Cut off by one of their trucks, then watched him run a red light almost hitting 2 people crossing the street

These guys cut the sidewalk infront of my house, which looked absolutely fine, poured new concrete, now they’re cutting it again. Absolutely ridiculous. Wasting taxpayer dollars. Not to mention blocking off our roads so we can’t park on the street.

They were hired to fix sidewalks in my neighbourhood, the people who demolished the old sidewalks where great; however, the people pour the concrete took up all the parking blocking community members from using it. The next crew that was fixing the street kept on ringing my doorbell despite my partner saying I couldn't move my car due to a work conference call. I had to apologize to those attending the conference call due to the distribution that their unprofessional teams caused. Then I came outside and again, they were taking up all the parking on the other side of the street... Tell your teams to plan better and ask people to move their cards well in advance and not when you get to their property.

On June 30 at 12:30 pm on Highway 2 south of Red Deer in a white company truck with the licence plate BRR 7916, was tailgating me on a busy long weekend traffic, passed me on the right lane to tail gate a motorcyclist then cut into my lane and slammed on the brakes, then proceeded to through garbage at my car. As I can tell from other comments on this forum this is not the first incident and obviously this company has not dealt with it. I would give no recommendations for anyone to use this business.

They were brought in to do some sidewalk construction in my neighborhood. Very unorganized operation. The flag people do not know how to direct traffic and are waving cars through when it's not safe to go. For example, I was forced to cross train tracks when the train light was flashing... I've never seen such a disorganized, dangerous mess like this construction area before.
