First Choice Haircutters

I got the absolute worst haircut in my life last week. Not only do they not listen to your instructions and give you the worst haircut in your life, though they would like to talk to you the entire time and annoy you to the point in which you want to get up and leave and never return to within a 500m radius in your lifetime. I do not recommend this place at all whatsoever.

Always a great experience for my son who hates to get his hair cut. The hairdressers are amazing with him.

It was nice that I could make an appointment the same day. No waiting when I arrived. Good haircut but expensive.

Worst haircut and customer experience I have ever had. I have never left a google review before, but my experience was so terrible, I consider it a public service announcement. I went for a haircut because one side of my hair was clearly longer than the other. After chopping off way more than I asked for, it was still lopsided. I was told “that was just my hair”. I politely said I still wasn’t happy with it and asked if there was some way I could style it for it to appear more even. The hairdresser (Tracey) became extremely combative, saying “she’s been doing this for 25 years and I was seeing things.” I told her I didn’t appreciate the attitude she was taking, as I had been nothing but polite to her and had not so much as raised my voice.I kid you not, she started screaming at me in a salon full of people. Another colleague had to pull her away. As a different hairdresser trimmed the portion I was talking about (so it was, in fact, uneven), I tried to diffuse the situation by saying that I’ve worked in customer facing professions before and I understand some clients can be difficult and I was certainly not trying to do that, but her behaviour was not acceptable. She replied “This is First Choice, if you wanted someone to spend an hour with you getting your hair right, you should have gone to a high end salon.”I left speechless and in tears. DO NOT GO HERE.

100% satisfaction guaranteed BS. They butchered my 3 year old son’s haircut his hair resembles that of the characters in dumb and dumber. His head looks like a bowl, they cut into the hairline at the front. Then they blamed their incompetence on my husband who asked then to cut it short on the sides and leave it longer on the top. My child held relatively still throughout the cut. Then when I went complain about the haircut they would not hear it, just blamed it on my husband who did not have the clippers or scissors in his hands.They preach 100% satisfaction but refused to try to fix it or refund the money. I will never use their services again.

Went in for a haircut and had a very good experience with my hairdresser Tracy (cookie). She did a very good job and was very polite and professional. This is my new go to spot for haircuts.

I hate to be this person but went in for a wash, cut and style was fine for the most part. Friendly ish staff. But when it came down to it I was SHAKING in my chair as I knew something was wrong. Now I only ever go to my hairstylist and they have been booked for a while and just needed a trim. I came out with very choppy ends. Not even straight and am crying over how bad it looks. Not to mention it was $55 which doesn’t add up. Too expensive for a terrible haircut will not be back!

It was quite busy but I felt like they still took their time to perfect my haircut which turned out fantastic and my stylist was very considerate of me wanting a silent appointment despite her being very chatty with her previous haircuts!

With a constantly changing schedule, I love being able to drop in to First Choice Haircutters without an appointment! I seldom get the same stylist twice in a row, but they all do a good job. Because if it's convenient location, if a short wait is required, I can get other things done in the area and come back in time for my cut. Lots of parking and easy access. Great place!
