Restaurant Le Vieux Canal
Service was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately the food was not great. Ordered the table haute, veggies totally over cooked, leek soup had something in it?! Still not sure. I think It iwas maybe a shrimp shell. Shamkpi was cold. Filet mignon was well cook but not hot. Thank god for the friendly service

My family and I went for our Friday evening dinner. We have been to this restaurant on multiple occasions prior to COVID. Typically the food is ok if I recall correctly.It has been our first time back post COVIDNormally I stick with the lamb chops. That’s a safe bet. However tonight I was adventurous and decided to try something different. I ordered the calamari plate. In hindsight I should have stuck to the lamb chops.The Cesar salad was a miss. Bitter greens and the bacon bits were soggy. Cream of broccoli still had chunks of flour in it.The calamari felt like I was eating rubber bands. Chewy and tasteless. I ate about four pieces and that was it. Could not force myself to eat the rest. The rice was bland and the veggies were boiled to death. Tasteless. I returned the plate almost untouched.I decided to taste my kids dishes. The rigatoni was over cooked and the sauce tasted like canned chef boyardee that you get at the super market. The fish sticks were an improvement compared to the soggy house salad and potato wedge.Seeing that my meal was left untouched the waiter offered to to replace my meal with something else. I declined.My wife appeared to enjoy her salmon. I didn’t try it but it seemed a bit over cooked. Dessert was the best part of the meal. Black Forest cake and baklava.The calamari dish was discounted 50% at the end on our bill. I don’t think I will be returning anytime soon.

If I could give this restaurant less than a star I would. The WORST service I have EVER had. The waiter (name is Martin) got into a scuffle with an elderly man near our table being very rude. He didn’t even greet our table. Started barking off soup specials. When my aunt wanted to give him her choice he rudely said that she has to wait 5 minutes and left. 30 mins later comes back for our order. ( I have to say that even just getting our bread took 30 mins). When I asked about what was in the pikilia he was very irritated about the question. Doesn’t even come with pita! Casa Grecque is sooooooo much better. And here I am having the time to write this review at our table after sitting here for almost 2 hours and still have to yet get my main meal. i am so close to walking out. I might update this later. My grandmother said: first and last time.

Restaurant Le Vieux Canal
Yesterday was my first time at this restaurant. The seafood here is fresh and to die for! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves seafood. The portion sizes are enough for 2 dinners! Definitely worth the price. The rib steak was also tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. The staff was kind and patient, and accommodating to food allergies. Looking forward to introducing this restaurant to my friends and family living in the area.

The service was exceptional. The food fantastic.the price and quantity was over the top and the atmosphere staff and cleanliness was incredible. My First time there but will not be my last. Loved the place can't wait to go back.

This is a great place. The portions are very big, the food is deliciois and consistent. The service was insanely fast. By that i mean my daughters both had a hot plate of pasta in front of them within 3 minutes of ordering. Bring your own wine too! Super happy, we will be returning.

Stinks bad , dumped and dark inside , workers rude and disrespectful ,better to stay away , inside the restaurant was smelling we wanted to sit outside one said we have no table for five people other said door doesn’t open to serve but people was already sitting outside and eating,,, never ever go there again…

Service was friendly and professional. Very nice interior design for a family or friends night out. The food was delicious with a lot of flavour. I ordered the Steak and it was cooked exactly how I like it. I highly recommend anybody to come spend an evening at this restaurant.An easy 5 star rating!
