Oasis Pool & Garden Centres

This review is specifically for their pool service/maintenance.Professional, well priced and overall great customer service.After getting the slough from a local company in Lindsay, left with no hope of getting the pool open early due to a leaking jet, called Oasis to see if they could help. Professional customer service, reminder phone call and showed up when they said they would.The repairmen gave a sense of confidence in their abilities and they got the job done quickly and most importantly properly. All done at half the cost other local companies had quoted.

Large selection of hose adapters and pool chemicals on the North end of the city, which is convenient for us coming from Kawarthas. They had everything I needed to complete my pump installation.

We just recently purchased a hot tub from Oasis and couldn't be more impressed with the knowledge and customer service. More importantly then customer service prior to a purchase, is the service after the purchase. They have been amazing before and after our purchase. John, the owner even came into the office when they were closed to meet me (I am from out of town) so that I could pick up a part he had ordered for me.I will be a return customer and would strongly recommend this business!

Oasis has so much to offer pool and hot tub owners. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in how much equipment and chemicals they had. Very deceiving from the road. The place is huge! You need to go here for all your hot tub and pool needs! Your advertisement on the radio brought us to you!

Bought a Hayward pool filter two season ago, I noticed last year that there was a lot of sand going into the pool, I thought this was odd and questioned. I was told it was likely one of the fingers on the lateral likely cracked in the winter and it would have to be replaced. Took all the sand out this year which is now a loss. Found the lateral had cracked on the bottom. Priced the part from oasis which even the young lads behind the counter snickered at the price of $272. I thought surely this should be under warranty? The last filter I had was over 20 years old and no issues. The only reason I replaced the filter because it was older and sand was overdue to be replaced. I know they don’t manufacture the part but come on….does that seem reasonable for basically one season? The filter drain doesn’t even drain the filter completely….could you help out on the price…..nope. Amazon same part $100 cheaper. Totally in favour to support local business but not at the expense of fairness. No offer to contact the manufacturer or help a loyal customer. I drive cross town to buy my pool stuff here, definitely rethinking my future relationship moving forward….

2pm on a Friday afternoon (Oct 16th if the owner wants to know what an amazing job the employee is doing) and we were the only ones in the store at the time....the young lady met us at the entrance as we walked in and was extremely polite and helpful! She knew what we needed and gave us instructions on how to use them. Wish more store employees had her level of customer service!! Keep up the fantastic work, we will continue to use this location for all our spa needs!!

Probably the worst customer service, Zero gumption to get a job finished. They could not even give my insurance company a quote. The guy on the phone literly said that replacing my pool liner would be too much work? How can you honestly be a pool company.Is there such a thing of too much work?? The work he said was to hard. Was taking the top rails off my pool. 4 screws x 15 spots. As I can see from the other bad reviews. How are you people still in business.

Oasis pool in Peterborough…. BEWARE BEWARE of these people they are crooks!! I purchased an 18foot pool from this store upgraded the ladder and paid it in full , we made arrangements to pick the pool up the following Monday…after calling to make sure it was ready we went to get it , only to find out they say oh sorry that was not the pool they had but for an additional $1000 we could have that one …. This is very poor business practice and I will be sure to let as many people as possible know it. Then to top it off I had to wait almost 2 weeks to get my money back … quite certain they sold it for more money.. BEWARE

I have used Oasis for many years for my supplies. In the last couple years I bought a security cover, solar cover, pool heater and have had them open and close my pool. Many thousands of dollars of business.After closing my pool last year, and leaving without capping or sealing any of the in ground pipes or use of any anti-freeze. I called to question it, and was told it would be no problem, that's how they do it.When I called to have it reopened this year and got told they had trouble collecting payment for closing the pool (which was a lie - they took payment on my visa) and told I should call elsewhere.I suspect they don't want to be responsible for any damages they might have done closing the pool.As a local business owner, I would caution anyone from doing business here.

The experience with Oasis is the worst we have ever had with a local company! We had gone in to purchase one of the floor model hot tubs and after filling out the initial paperwork we followed up with them for over 4 weeks looking to get final documents signed (which they stated at one point were ready) and set up delivery. We constantly got excuses like the sales rep was not in or their computer was not working to print the documents for us to sign. We requested that the documents be emailed and they refused to do that even. The owner was completely rude to us any time we called and made it very clear that their customers do not matter. It has been almost 3 months and they still have not made the effort to contact us AT ALL and we have since purchased and received a different hot tub from another company. The funny part is that they still have the sold sign sitting on our hot tub collecting dust in the showroom! The purpose of having a store is to sell to customers but this experience allowed us to shop elsewhere locally and we found a significantly higher quality tub for the same price Oasis was charging and far less of a headache!!!
