Vita Health Fresh Market

Vita Fresh Markets are a local chain in Winnipeg. Very similar to 'Whole Foods' stores, but better. Vita has been a Winnipeg 'household name' for 40+ years. They are excellent at what they do, which is why Whole Foods didn't open in this city.FRESH produce, baked goods, pantry, ready-made-meals (grab + go), dairy, vitamins, and a great selection of grocery dry goods.PRICES ARE GREAT (cheaper than nearby Safeway), excellent Customer Service, too.LOCATED in south downtown's Osborne Village District. Street Parking, ACCESSIBLE via Rapid Transit South at Osborne Station (walk North from there 2-3 blocks).You can do your weekly/regular grocery shopping herebetter prices

Very helpful and friendly employees and a great selection; unfortunately I was very uncomfortable shopping there due to the amount of people without masks who frequent the store. I wish I could leave a more positive review. I will not be returning for some time.

During these trying times I value every ounce of my safety. Unlike other stores, there were shoppers entering without masks. For some people, going to the grocery store is the only risk they can take leaving the house. I am very disappointed at the lack of action taken to protect customers and employees.

I go to Vita Health frequently to purchase baking related products that are often not carried at other locations, and while the employees are very helpful and kind people, there are often people in the store who are not wearing their (MANDATED by LAW) masks. It has been making me feel very unsafe alongside the rise in cases, so I have unfortunately had to avoid going to this store as of late.

This is my daily grocer with good selection of organic vegetables and fruits plus grass fed beef, organic chicken and nitrate free bacon. Many alternative baking ingredients and tons of yummy organic or gmo free potato chips. The staff has ordered items that I requested. Store is clean and I love that I don't feel like I'm shopping in a health food store and instead it's like I'm at a gourmet market!

Wide variety of Whole Foods. Clean. Masks required . Friendly.

I shop at Vita Health quite regularly. Normally they have a great selection of organic and specialty food. Staff is always willing to provide help if you need it. Make sure you go on the last Friday of the month, as most products are 10% off!
