Jim is awesome. Kind and straight-forward. He was not able to fix our dishwasher (it is dead and we need a new one) so he readjusted our fee. You don't find people this honest all the time. Highly recommend.

Jim worked around our work schedules to come assess our dryer, get the parts to repair it, and complete the repair in only a few days. He arrived exactly when he said he would both to assess and repair our dryer. His pricing was also very reasonable, much cheaper than replacement. Jim is an awesome professional who diagnosed and repaired my parent’s fridge in a timely manner. I was really anxious because my parents are elderly and live in a different city. The fridge was leaking all over the kitchen floor and into the basement. He quickly diagnosed the issue and was able to do a same day repair. He took the time to explain the problem to my parents and treated them with respect. Jim is extremely knowledgeable and I don’t hesitate to recommend him! I just wish he lived in my city!

Our refrigerator broke. He answered the call early in the morning. He came and fixed it as fast as our schedule would allow. We are very pleased.

Today, September 24th, 2021, Jim came to repair the broken handle on my microwave. What seemed like a simple job turned into a complicated one with many parts having to be removed to get at the actual repair. He did the job with patience and careful treatment of all the plastic parts he had to get through. As usual, his fee was extremely reasonable.He had also worked several months back on a dryer problem with the same care and patience. I will always choose Sunrise Appliance Repair for my appliance problems, and I recommend Jim without reservation.The following is an earlier review about his repairs tp my refrigerator.On a recent Sunday, Jim answered my message about a refrigerator freezer not functioning. He arrived that day and tackled several ongoing problems over the next few days. Labour charges were more than reasonable, and he worked to save me money on parts. The freezer is now working perfectly. One of my most positive experiences in having to deal with a difficult repair situation. I recommend Jim for any appliance repair job and will call on him next time there's a problem.

I went with the reviews and took my chances yes. But have to say he was not professional at all and made a basic mistake by not unplugging the power before taking off the front panel when it sparked and caught on fire he said opps and sorry that was a rookie mistake". I get that we make mistakes but come on even I know to unplug a unit before working on it. The unit was older yes but just started out needing a belt to then needing another part to then a new dryer and because this was a one full unit machine also had to replace the washer and over a month of waiting for parts. This cost me big time. Maybe he had a bad day but wouldn't own up to his mistake or meet me less than half way on a replacement unit. Will never use him again and thinking small claims court."

Moved into new home and had problem with the dryer. Called Jim and if have any problems with any other appliances we will definitely be calling him again. He was very professional, on time (which is a big plus for us), got the parts and fixed the problem. Thanks Jim!
