I called Raj Khokhar late night for Emergency at Home

I recommended Raj to my clients. Every time he was on time and ready to answer all home buyers questions. Also the report he provided was always professional and easy to follow. All my clients were impressed with his knowledge.

We had a very bad experience. The house was missing a water shut off valve that was not spotted although the report said it’s in the basement. We didn’t realise it until 2 yrs after buying the house when a shower broke. Honestly this is one of the main things that should have been identified.While checking for the valve we realised that the insulation is missing between the walls and the drywalls in the basement which was also not identified.Since this is a very old house, the city shutoff valve has been covered up under the tiles in the front yard and cannot be easily identified. We already spent a lot of time and effort co-ordinating with the city and paying a plumber to wait for the city to arrive in vain. The city plumber didn’t arrive in the stipulated time. Apart from loss of money and time, this whole episode has been extremely stressful.Being new to the country and a first time homebuyer we weren’t aware of a lot of things.Deeply disappointed with the service and felt betrayed as key issues were not identified in the inspection.
