QuickBook Modeling Agency
I know little about modeling, personally. However, it's generally very suspicious of any business that when I applied to this agency, I received an approval email immediately the next day. Not that it's not possible to receive a rapid response, but it was a bit concerning when reading through the approval letter that despite stating having no upfront fees" they essentially ask that you pay $249 (for the first year) to set up your personal profile/database using a management firm. I've read trusted online sources that say to be cautious of modeling agencies that ask for payment before you can work.I hate to call a scam a scam but..."

It's not a scam. I just completed a job last night for one of their clients. They may be quick to wrap up a conversation but in my experience, that speaks more to the million other things their agency is doing at the moment while trying to ensure that I secure a potential booking. They aren't out for your money." As a matter of fact

This agency" is a scam. I was 14 years old when I got scammed. This "agency" is a middle-aged couple who has some knowledge of HTML/CSS based out of America. Their website is outdated. None of their clients ever get work. AND to top it off

Be careful it is a SCAM. After I filled up their form online they sent me an e-mail saying that if my son's look was approved I was going to receive a letter. On the letter it says I have to pay a $250 insurance/bond for them to be able to work with us. I don't see why they would need a insurance if I'm not even actively working with them. They should first book a job, and then it would make sense to require something like that.I posted the picture of the letter, so they don't comment saying it's a lie, like they did on other posts.

I have been represented by 2 agencies for a few years now and only QuickBook gets me big national jobs that pay well. I’ve done ads for Visa, Excedrin, Yamaha and other companies that required bonded talent for on location shoots. My other agency does not offer insured models to hiring companies, so they don’t get the same great paying jobs. Because I get national ads, I get more exposure for even more clients to discover me. The staff and agents are very helpful and always available to me. I am very satisfied with the representation I receive from QuickBook.

I am embarrassed to say I fell for their ruse. Once we got the letter saying we needed to pay for the insurance and website/dashboard fee, I let the letter sit for months. I emailed asking for more information and called the number provided. I spoke with a man who I believe was named Paul, who tried to rush me off the phone without answering my questions. Against my gut feeling, my boyfriend and I decided to pay the fee and use the agency. We set up his profile, and received a printed zed card and some other things in the mail a few weeks later. There was a contract saying the we didn’t have to book calls with them and were free to use other agencies or book on our own. That is when I knew we had been scammed. If the company was truly taking out an insurance policy on my son, they wouldn’t want us to possibly use other agencies or be self-directed. Since they claim to work solely on commission, that wouldn’t produce any income for them. We were never provided with any insurance documents or agreement for the website service. If those things were opened in our son’s name, we should have received documents for the policy and website agreement. I would advise anyone to stay away and do not provide them with any of your information. They will comment on this review and say I am angry that my son wasn’t chosen, or that I don’t understand the “services” they provide. The only thing I am angry about is that I didn’t trust my feelings and threw away $249 with this fraudulent merchant. I challenge QBNW to manufacture something other than the canned responses they put in their emails, on their website, and leave as comments on reviews. Any actual professional agency wouldn’t have a retort for every negative review they receive or banter online like a child. It would be great if I could get my money back, but I know that won’t happen. Chalk it up as a lesson to always trust your instincts.

My experience with QuickBook has been excellent. The agents are very nice and always there any hour to help me with my bookings. It’s great money and fun jobs. I’ve read some negative posts which shocked me, they can’t be from models that work with this agency. This is the best representation I’ve had, and they do great work. I’ve worked on many jobs with other QuickBook models just as pleased as me.

This is a SCAM, we also applied for our twins online. We too received a letter in the mail requesting $250.00 for an insurance bond which we paid back in March 2019. Quick books Talent agency is not a legitimate company ...and they will scam you for your non don’t do it! Our twins have yet to receive any bookings nor calls or emails. I had to ask them why they send the exact same zed cards out every week before they actually updated the order of the photos on the Zed cards... Just a waste of money and time.
