Good service, the waiting time is good if you arrive early in the morning, friendly staff...

There are more organized and clean facilities. Park on the street for free. Only two nurses and bathrooms were dirty. Not a lot of space but my nurse was extremely gentle.

I love this place! The wait times are good. The phlebotomist was gentle and didn't poke around (unlike some places) trying to find a vein. I also had an EKG ; they were professional about it, and I did not feel uncomfortable disrobing. I truly recommend this lab.

Staff do their job well. As a walk-in patient, i was able to get my blood work done much faster than I anticipated. Note that parking on site is not free

Good X-ray techHe’s very efficient and very thorough. He wastes no time but still manages to put you at ease. This was my second visit so it’s not a one of occurrence. Thanks

Not many persons look forward to medical tests and procedures, but they are necessary to increase the likelihood of a better quality of life. That brings me to make a few remarks.!Over the past couple of years, I have had the opportunity to use the medical test facility called Bio-Test located at 102-1929 Russell Road for blood/urine tests and X-ray procedures. On each occasion I have found the staff at the Russell Road locations to be kind, considerate and professional in every respect.Bio-Test is situated inside the Smyth Medical Centre so there’s no standing outside in the cold waiting for one’s testing procedure to be initiated. The waiting room is small and sparsely furnished, but it has the feel and ambiance of sitting down in your kitchen having a coffee and reading the newspaper (or viewing the news on your device).On my most recent visit, (I always arrive before opening time as this ensures waiting is non-existent and even when I have arrived during the middle of the day, I haven't had to wait even a minute).Evan arrived early for her shift. Instead of making me wait and stand outside of the office, she invited me in early, so that I could have a seat while she prepared to open the office. This small gesture was so much appreciated as I have been struggling with hip and back pain circumstances, so being able to sit down as opposed to standing meant that I was experiencing a less painful situation.I have very small and difficult to locate veins, but Evan (the phlebotomist) has been able to on many occasions draw my blood without any difficulty. Before she started the procedure , she consulted with her colleague Julinda. It was reassuring that such collaboration exists between staff members at Bio-Test.In addition to the above, both Julinda and Evan take the time to ensure that all details no matter how small and seemingly insignificant are considered. Since my OHIP card was expired, I was issued with a document that indicated that the letters associated with my OHIP number had changed and Julinda noticed that it had not been incorporated on the physician’s requisition and she made the necessary change/correction.All in all, the staff at Bio-Test (Smyth Medical Centre) are extremely knowledgeable and skilled. Staff members carry out their duties and responsibilities quickly, efficiently and effectively and in ways that are sensitive to and empathic with the individual circumstances of those who seek its services.I unequivocally, unreservedly and highly recommend Bio-Test located (inside the Smyth Medical Centre) for all of your urine, bloodwork and x-ray needs, procedures and processes.

I have gone here more times than I could say for blood work as well as x-rays. They are so friendly and very fast phlebotomists . Other places have always found it difficult to draw my blood because of my small veins, here first time everytime done in minutes no fuss no pain. I would recommend this place to anyone adults and kids my daughter is scared of needles and she says it never hurt. They are wonderful not a bad word to say!!! I'm actually going today because they couldn't get a vein at my doctors office after 4 attempts a week ago not that they were bad I'm just a difficult person to take blood from even the hospitals have trouble.Update: my x-ray was before covid so I do not know if they are still doing x-rays. My husband (to save paying for parking) tells them at the gate he is just dropping me off he then waits at elmvale mall when I'm done I call to say come get me then he comes through the gate picks me up out front.....No charge needed.

First time I've been to this clinic. Clean yes, quiet yes. But service could be better. Not pleasant or welcoming at all. Treated like just another number. 'Take a chair, which arm, make a fist, relax and you're all done....pretty much it. No 'Good Morning, how's ur day going or even 'Have a nice day!'Yes we do want to go in, get the test done and get out, but add a little bit of enthusiasm.

Their website indicated that they did x-ray exams and no appointment necessary. I tried to call them several times to confirm never getting through. I went, only to be told that they don't do them anymore and their website hadn't been updated. Wasted my time and money for parking. I don't recommend.
