Extremely Hot inside. As if sitting inside tandoor. Terrible food. Every dish is almost same with different name and color. Only one person as serving, taking order, doing arrangements, doing billings. That guy was nice but management needs to understand one person is not enough. Ordered Shahi paneer, chicken Biryani, lamb biryani, tandoori chicken (only thing i heard is “okay”).

I highly doubt they have tandoor in the kitchen. Cause naan and even tandoori chicken doesn’t look like cooked in a tandoor oven.Usually when I order Tandoori chicken for 20$ I expect I will at least get 5-6 pieces of chicken but instead you get pink coloured chicken and only 3 pieces and with some masala rice(not expected) and no one eats masala rice with tandoori chicken. And if I want rice I will order it separately.And we order 2 curries one came with rice and the other doesn’t. Mutton was chewy.Service was nice but food wasn’t good and for the price they charge they gotta put more efforts to make it better. Good luck.

We were looking for a halal restaurant for dinner in Quebec and came across this restaurant. It was closing but they were gracious enough to still accommodate us. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was equally amazing. The server helped us with the menu since we were struggling with French and turned out to be a great experience for us. Would love to visit again!

I came here with three friends and we made an online reservation 2 hours in advance. When we arrived we had to wait a while to be helped and after that we had to wait another 20 minutes to get seated. The restaurant was understaffed as there was only one waitress, being very stressed but at the same time not really doing an effort to be friendly or quick. We wanted to order starters and she wrote them down but after a minute she suddenly claimed that the kitchen told her that they don’t serve starters today but clearly she was the one who couldn’t handle 2 courses. Used tables from other customers weren’t cleaned for the 1,5 hours we were at the restaurant. She also kept sending new customers away bc “they were fully booked” but the restaurant was almost empty at the end of our stay. Once we ordered our food, it arrived within a reasonable time and it tasted good, but not amazing. In one of the dishes there was a hair. It was also a bit chilly in the restaurant, many people were wearing jackets and hats. Overall, the stress and waiting weren’t worth the quality of the food. Hope that the restaurant will soon hire more staff and improve their service.

Ordered takeout twice … first day because AC wasn’t working it was hot inside. They gave plain jeera rice under the name pulav…. Malai kofta was spicy but eatable … second day jeera rice became just boiled rice and looked stale and was billed for pulav and dal tadka was again very spicy in spite of specifically being asked mild dal. I had to throw food… please spare yourself and take reservation in kudah restaurant .

Not happy with food at all. We tried Kashmiri chicken, shahi paneer both were not good and chicken tandoori was so hard. Disappointed with food, not to impress with service and atmosphere too.

Me and my wife decided to go here since we were wanted some authentic Indian food. The restaurant was spacious and the service was good but it would be nice if the AC was turned on (im not sure if they have AC but it was kinda hot inside).I ordered the chicken Naga, Goat Vindaloo, apps, naan and rice. The food came out quickly and the server was kind enough to make sure how comfortable my spice level was which was nice. The prices here are higher than your typical Indian restaurant which is why I liked and expected the good service. 4 dollars for a small ish garlic Naan when I'm used to paying $2.50.The food was mediocre, surprisingly the food lacked salt and the typical punch/flavour you would expect from Indian takeout. Very rarely do I say that Indian take out wasn't salty enough lol but yeah. My goat vindaloo wasn't spicy and quite frankly it tasted bland. Maybe it's the Qebecois folk that like it this way? Not sure but as a South Asian it was underwhelming. The portions were also a lot smaller than what I was expecting. The rice portion was enough for me to hold in one hand. The service is good, the location is good, food could use a little salt.
