What a fantastic bunch of trails. Well marked and easy to navigate. A couple challenging hills but overall a really enjoyable afternoon of skiing! We will be back

Cross country skiing at Highlands Nordic is so much fun! The trails are always nicely groomed and well marked and you can’t beat the scenery. The wind can be a bit fierce at times so make sure you dress in layers as there can be a big difference between being in the trees vs the trails that are more open. Night skiing is always a blast! There are a couple of trails that are lit up, but we wear headlamps so we can explore more.We're looking to upgrade our equipment next year and the staff in the shop was super helpful and gave us great advice - we'll be back in the fall to get fitted.

Fantastic cross country choice.

Good place to ski, especially if you often go there as the trails, yes they are marked but you never know where you are. They dont give you a trail map, so you have to rely on what is on the trail which is a tiny map. See picture with this post which was taken from the track set - yes there is a map there can you see it? Most trails have hills, and the crowd here are mostly the hard core type. The food offered is limited if you're vegetarian. Probably one of the best place in Ontario to get your gear this side of Ottawa with a great selection of supplies but more importantly, very knowledgeable and very friendly staff.

Great place for nordic skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking in the winter. Great for hiking in the summer months. Without a doubt, has the best views in all of southern Ontario from the trails as well, looking down over Georgian Bay. The staff are amazing; very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. In the Pro Shop, they help you find what you need, and don't try to push you in to products you don't need. They also have a great selection of stuff. The service bench is also timely and they do quality work. The cafeteria serves amazing food too!

This is a fantastic place to nordic ski. Excellent environment with beautiful trails winding their way through the forest. The trails are well maintained and clearly marked, with trail markers at all forks in the path, as well as maps throughout the trail system.The pro shop is very well stocked and should have just about anything that you need. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, rentals are available for all ages, for both classic and skate equipment.There is a cafeteria that serves simple food (grilled cheese, soup, chili), drinks, and a few baked goods, with plenty of seating if you choose to bring your own food to eat.It's a bit of a drive to get to for my family, about 2 hours, but well worth it. Can't wait to return.

For my second time cross country skiing this was an amazing experience. They had so many trails and at so many different levels. Everyone there was so friendly. I loved the little cafe at the top floor. Also great that it’s not like normal ski resorts where you have to pay for a locker for your stuff! If you want you are allowed to leave it in place of where your rental ski boots came from
