Take Sushi Japanese Restaurant
How can I say in short form. One of many few hidden gems in burnaby. Their food is exceptionally delicious in many ways that it will fulfill your hunger and leave your belly super happy. The freshness,flavor profiles, prompt service, and spacious clean establishment. Two thumbs up all the way, if I had a third thumb. You would get three thumbs up. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Take Sushi Japanese Restaurant
I visited Take Sushi about a year ago and was extremely disappointed with my experience. Despite arriving early and being seated promptly, I ended up waiting for over half an hour for my food. The most frustrating part was that the restaurant kept taking pick-up and take-out orders while neglecting the customers dining in.As a paying customer, I found it unacceptable to be left waiting for such an extended period of time while others who arrived after me were served ahead of me. The lack of attention to those dining in and the prioritization of other types of orders was extremely disappointing.Overall, I cannot recommend Take Sushi based on my experience. If they cannot properly manage their orders and provide equal attention to all their customers, they risk losing loyal customers and receiving negative reviews like this one.

The food is not as good as we expected. We came at around 5/6pm and the restaurant was pretty empty, but it still took a long while until our food served. We ordered couple sushi roll and sashimi, they tasted like the fast food version. We were expecting something more equal to the price . Overall not recommended and won’t come back.

Order some takeout from their website today. It was very convenient and easy. It was ready for pick up in 20 mins...pretty quick! The sushi and sashimi were very good and fresh. Prices were reasonable as well.

$11.25 a Teriyaki box include Miso soup, mix vegetable, California roll, assorted tempura, and of course teriyaki chicken and rice. great deals.However, I would suggest the chefs at the sashima counter to talk less, it isnt very hygienic.

Ordered via Fantuan delivery which was very prompt, arrived fresh tasting and efficiently in around 35 minutes on a late Saturday evening.The Fantuan app has very low ratings for this joint, but don't be fooled it's super yummy, delicious infact. If you eat sushi often, you can appreciate this place is definetely a cut above the average sushi joints, very fresh authentic and natural flavorsome tasting and not at all salty. All of it was really yummy, great value and the Yam Tempura Rolls were definetely my favorite!I love how they provide compostable and environmentally friendly packaging which is awesome!Support local!

Amazing service and top quality fish and sushi :) Highly recommend if it’s your first time there, ask Chef Jason for his recommendations or what he has for daily fish. Huge variety of sushi rolls and cooked food.

The best sushi spot around. Always fresh innovative rolls and such great staff and service. Highly recommend the kiwi roll, prawn tempura, tuna mango salad are for sure a must along with many others. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed. I had a similar experience as another reviewer where it seems they neglect dine in customers and focus on take out. I was served miso soup 30 mins after placing an order. After a nearly an hour of waiting, I asked the server when my food would be ready and she went to check but never came back. I left hungry and super disappointed. Needless to say, I won't be coming back.
