Fellow sound mixer here from the US. While he did not have the specialized equipment we needed for our specific type of show (multicamera comedy special), Bill went WAY above and beyond to help our production get sorted while we were working in Canada. He reached out to his network and emailed me a comprehensive list of resources within his community, even AFTER he knew he wouldn’t make any money for his time. Bill clearly knows how audio people in our small filmmaking community operate, and now he’ll absolutely be my first call and first referral next time I need something across the border. Thanks, Bill!
