The Ranch House

We cannot say enough good things about The Ranch House. My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception here in September 2022 and everything was absolutely perfect!! We had an intimate ceremony with our close family, and the venue size was perfect even though it’s large enough to host big events as well. The polo grounds were gorgeous for our wedding photos. Kristal was incredible at getting everything organized right up until the wedding day. Chris was the best chef and host we could’ve asked for. And Desiree was such a hit as our bartender! The venue was the perfect mix of rustic, elegance and western vibes, and the staff helped our vision come to life in the best way possible. Every one of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, how friendly the staff were, and we even had a few say it was the nicest wedding they’d ever attended. Thank you so much to everyone there for making our day so special and one that we (and our guests) will never forget!

The Ranch House hosted an amazing event for us. We've worked with them for a few years now and they never disappoint. They were great to work with and the catered food we ordered through them was delicious! We used an event company they recommended and made The Ranch House feel like a cozy Christmas cottage.

We recently had our wedding at The Ranch House and it was absolutely lovely. I can tell this establishment is going places, they seem to constantly be improving the property. Both owners are kind and willing to work with you to make your day extremely special, choosing them to host our wedding was a no brainer. I do highly recommend The Ranch House their venue gives a classy rustic vibe. My partner and I, are ecstatic with how the day went. Even when we hit hiccups, I found they were able to offer a solution in a timely fashion.

I recently had the opportunity to work with Chris and Kristal during our weekend event, which was being hosted on the polo field adjacent to The Ranch House. When faced with unexpected operational and logistics challenges, Chris and Kristal generously shared space and access to the Ranch House with our team. Recognizing when we needed some TLC after some long days, they would come visit our team with cold water + soft drinks and encouraging words. Every time I stopped by The Ranch House, my stomach grumbled from the heavenly smells coming from the kitchen. The Ranch House is definitely on my list for future event planning!If you want to work with a professional, hospitable, and people-focused business, The Ranch House should be top of your list. Chris and Kristal are amazing to work with, the views from The Ranch House are spectacular, and the venue ambience is second-to-none.

Graham was absolutely amazing! We had our venue pull the rug on us 6 days before our wedding. Graham did not only accommodate us but went over and above to make our day amazing. He was professional when we needed him to be and laid back when we didn't. The venue is gorgeous and well kept. We did our own food and brought it in and they were okay with that, if it was in the budget i would have loved to try the food on site as they have a beautiful commercial kitchen. They are very flexible with where the ceremony is done (Balcony, building, or tent). I can not say enough good things about this venue and the manager. It was truly one of the best days of my life and i cant thank Graham enough for helping to make it so. Absolutely amazing, would recommend to anyone and everyone!!! Thank you Graham!

As a Planner/Coordinator of multiple weddings at the Ranch House, I have enjoyed working with Kristal and Chris. They are professional, helpful and beyond amazing to work with! Their venue is a beautiful setting in any season! Always a pleasure working an event there!

Our daughter & son in law’s wedding was this past Saturday, June 25th/2022, at the Ranch House at the Calgary Polo Club. The venue was spectacular. All our guests were amazed with this beautiful location. It truly is the perfect location for a wedding. We were blessed with the most beautiful, perfect weather, so we were very fortunate.Highwood Catering did a fantastic job. We heard nothing but compliments from our guests about the food & beverage services. Chef Chris & Kristal Martin plus their staff were all very accommodating & timely. They certainly helped to make the day flow very smoothly.All and all, Highwood catering and The Ranch House helped us to create the magic which we all envision for our daughters & sons very sacred wedding day.
