Elena's Medi Spa

I saw Elena this week for a hydrafacial. She was very professional, and knowledgeable. I'm so happy with the results of my facial. I will definitely be back for other services with her. She is the best ❤️

I saw Elena last week for an IPL facial treatment.I few months ago I tried another clinic out for the same treatment and didn’t love it. While scrolling Groupon, her clinic came up and I decided to give it a go. Once I arrived, she was so warm, welcoming, and personable. The clinic itself was tucked away in a convenient part of West 4th and clean without feeling like a clinic devoid of personality.For the treatment, I already knew that laser hurts and slathered myself in numbing cream about 30 minutes beforehand. I appreciated that Elena kept saying “I know this hurts but you are almost done!” Laser sucks but it is effective and I’m already seeing changes in pigmentation. Once my Groupon is up, I’d gladly pay full price at her clinic.

I can’t thank Elena enough for what she has done for me it has been life changing. When i first went to see Elena it was for my face and neck, I had a lot of sun damage I was very sad being so young n have damaged my skin. She assured me that she can make my skin look better with the fractional laser we did skin resurfacing. To this day I still can’t believe what it has done for me!! Made my skin look so young and fresh shrunk my pores I am beyond happy for the results. After that we went on to do full body laser and I can gladly see I am hair free now! She ALSO helped me with a surgical scar I had she did some laser on it and made the scar so much less visible and much easier to live with. Not to mention I had some spider veins on my legs she ALSO made disappear this women does wonders I swear my life has changed for the better I am so much happier. She is the most kind, beautiful and patient women I just love going to see her. Very professional and clean and her work does wonders I will never let anyone but Elena do any sort of work for me. This women really does it all! I can’t thank you enough Elena.

Elena is the best! I travel across town to get treatments and it’s well worth it! I know my skin is getting the best care. Elena is professional, experienced and friendly. I wish I had found her sooner!

I definitely did not have a positive experience at Elena's. She seemed very disinterested in performing the IPL procedure. I have had IPL before & this was much quicker than other treatments I've had. She did not treat all parts of my face with the laser. However the most disappointing part is she charged me 12% tax. I did not realize until I was home it should have been 5% for a beauty procedure service. Buyer Beware!!

My experience with Elena’s Medi Spa was horrible. I bought a Groupon for 4 IPL and microdermabrasion treatment and went in for my initial appointment the first week of March. The skin issue I wanted to target were my sun spots/hyperpigmentation. I had told her that a previous korean laser clinic mentioned that I potentially had melasma. She was unsure as to whether I had melasma or not when she analyzed my skin so she suggested starting with one IPL treatment to see if my hyperpigmentation improves or worsens. In addition, she agreed to give me a full refund if my hyperpigmentation worsens. I agreed to this and we proceeded with the IPL treatment. My first issue with the treatment was that she did not take her time to make sure every part of the face was targeted. The treatment was done VERY quickly as if she just wanted to get off work and have dinner with her friends. I even asked her at the end of the treatment if she was certain she got every part of my face... On top of that she did not provide me with a headband to push my hair back and ended up burning off some of my baby hair with the IPL machine. Usually after IPL treatment your hyperpigmentation should get dark (almost like scattered coffee grounds on the face) before they fade as the skin renews itself in 2 weeks. However, the darkness of my hyperpigmentation did not improve after 2 weeks when I was supposed to come in for a microdermabrasion treatment. I decided to cancel my appointment as I was not impressed with my first treatment. I decided to proceed with a refund as I did not want my hyperpigmentation to worsen. She informed me that I would need to get a refund through Groupon. I emailed Groupon asking for a refund and they asked me to forward them an email from Elena confirming she agrees to the refund. I’m not sure why a customer would have to email a merchant on their behalf when they clearly have the merchants contact information and can send an email to confirm themselves. The customer service at Groupon is poor to say the least. Expect to do their job for them. After weeks of getting one word emails from Elena I decided to call her. She confirms through the phone that she sent an email to Groupon agreeing to the refund. However, every time I have sent an email to Groupon they consistently say that they have yet to receive an email from Elena. Basically giving me the runaround to dodge the refund. After almost 2 month of going back and forth with emails, they agreed to give me a refund with Groupon bucks….To me this is unacceptable. If they provided great customer service to begin with and were an ethical company, I wouldn’t mind accepting the Groupon bucks and supporting the company. However, I refuse to support this company after having such a horrible experience with their customer service representatives. I texted Elena informing her that they refused to refund my credit card like she promised at the initial appointment and she responded with “I don’t know what to say at this point” and “It’s between you and them. They have your money and I don’t. They should give your money back.” Basically giving me no resolution to the issue that I have been dealing with for almost 2 months now …. Although I hated having to deal with Groupon, they were not the ones that promised the refund initially, Elena did. If she was not sure as to whether Groupon would provide a refund (not with Groupon bucks!) she should not have promised it at the initial appointment. Thoroughly disappointed with my experience with both Groupon and Elena’s Medi Spa. Would not recommend this Spa to ANYONE!!!

Elena is amazing! I've been going to her for over 6 years for laser hair removal and hydrafacials. I've moved to another city but I make a point to book with her whenever I'm in Vancouver. I haven't been able to find a spa in Edmonton that does as good of a Hydrafacial as she does. I HIGHLY recommend going to Elena for Hydrafacials. As for laser hair removal, she is always updating her machines to the latest technology. It's quick and painless with her. She is also such a wonderful person and super knowledgable.

I have been receiving treatments from Elena for a few years. I love her treatments! The hydrafacial has done wonders for my skin. Elena is always very professional and very knowledgable in skin care. I highly recommend Elenas medi spa for the hydra facial and laser treatments.

This was my second laser treatment with Elena, and she is absolutely amazing! I find her so kind and easy to talk to. She makes you feel super comfortable, she's so sweet and hilarious. I would recommend her to anyone!

Elena has the best laser equipment I have been able to find. She works quickly with skilled hands and goes above and beyond in every way for her clients. The numbing cream she used was very effective. I have had experience with lots of different numbing creams and lasers and Elena has the best of it all. Hands down I would recommend her services.
