Absolutely the WORST allergist in the city! The worst doctor period. He has zero bedside manner, and is rude to you when you ask questions about your care / treatments. Overall he treats his patients with an utter lack of respect, as though he has no concern for their well-being at all. I work in a medical clinic and understand the pressures placed on doctors…but his attitudes and behaviours are beyond unacceptable. I feel sorry for the receptionist that has to deal with this horrible man on the daily.

I saw Luciuk 10 years ago. If there was another allergy specialist in Richmond, I would go. Unfortunately, Luciuk is the only one. If you can go to Vancouver or Burnaby, I recommend that you do so.His is rude, arrogant, and disrespectful. If you disagree or question, he shouts and condescends. I’m shocked at his penchant for SHOUTING.If you do not ask questions, and put him on a pedestal, then he is at his best. This was the experience at my 1st appointment. The follow today(up a year later) was horrible. His communication worsened with each minute. I ended the appointment and walked out.The office staff is polite both on the phone and in-person. This is not a friendly office but, to be fair, the staff are exceptionally busy.

I have been seeing Dr Luciuk for close to 20 years (yearly testing, etc) and I find that his knowledge and treatments have worked great to assist me with my multiple allergies. I really Like Dr Luciuk and I appreciate his directness and efficiency. He and his staff are on time and quick to respond to any request. Believe me, I have demanded many clarification and assistance over the years (for me and my son) and they have always quickly assisted me with all I needed & more. It’s sad that some base their judgement on how much a person “smiles” or how “gentle mannered” they are, rather then how good at their job/knowledgeable and efficient they are. I recommend Dr Luciuk to anyone who is looking for quality/knowledge rather then niceties/pleasantries.

Helped figure out what my allergies where however did it in a condescending and impatient manner. The nurses were amazing however the dr I found was rude and abrupt with no bedside manner.

I have a lot of respect for this doctor. He's extremely smart, upfront and was one of the only health care professionals I knew that kept treating patients all through COVID since he recognized the importance of consistent immunotherapy to help his patients maintain a stronger immune system through a pandemic. I can appreciate how some might find him dismissive and brief, but as someone who works in healthcare I see him sort of like the 'Einstein' of the Immunotherapy world. He might not have the best social skills, but he sure knows what he's talking about and really does care. Lastly, he's one of the only doctors I've ever had that has stressed the importance of exercise and diet in order to get the maximum benefits from a treatment. I was able to get my life back through his treatments and allergy shot series!

I was not too sure what to expect with my application after reading all the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. Dr. George Luciuk was nothing but polite and helpful. He asked all the questions that were needed and helped me out greatly. Don't listen to all the other reviews, he was great! I would recommend him!

I went in worried after reading his reviews. I am absolutely shocked that people give him bad reviews. He was cordial and nice. Good personality and normal. The reviews make him out to be a grumpy man with no bed side manner. I have no complaints about Dr. Luciuk and with his skills and qualifications I am glad I went to see him.I did the testing which was $50 and came away with results in a matter of 1.5 hrs. The receptionists and technicians were exceptional.

His professional, yet approachable style is commendable. He took the time to explain my test results to me in a way that was easy to comprehend. More importantly, he didn't just stop at interpreting the results; he also provided a comprehensive rundown of various treatment options. I particularly appreciated how he offered practical advice on how I could modify my home environment to reduce allergens, a proactive approach that extends care beyond the clinic.Overall, my experience with Dr. Luciuk was nothing short of excellent. His expertise, coupled with his genuine concern for patients, make him an exceptional allergy specialist. I walked away from the appointment feeling not just treated, but educated and empowered about managing my allergies.For anyone in need of allergy testing, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. George Luciuk. His proficient team and he have created a truly patient-centered healthcare environment that delivers quality care with a personal touch.

The admin staff is terrible. The nurses are great. The doctor here is very rushed I would say arrogant. He misleads his patients and quotes an invalid DIN for the testing serum not registered with Health Canada.Actual testing fees are not covered by most insurance plans. I'm battling now with them because the office refuses to modify the receipt for his services that he used Allergy Testing serum 02242716 instead of a non registered DIN (Drug Identification Number) 00999652. As a result, your claim will likely be denied unless your plan covers testing.Normally, it takes a while to see an Allergist in BC, but with Dr. Luciuk, that's not the case. I imagine it's because he doesn't have many return patients, they go elsewhere.Communication is done by a third party email service, Proton mail which rarely works when you provide the given password from the clinic. Often you either can't log-in, you have an invalid password, or attachments can't be downloaded.As others have stated or implied if you read between the lines in the comments, his receptionist is like a bot and has a major attitude. She's not a happy person in my opinion.As a suggestion, before you get any injections from him, you need to find out exactly what the DIN is and provide in writing exactly what the receipt is going to say. I can't trust them and I don't feel the quoting of an invalid DIN is an ethical practice in the eyes of the BC College of Surgeons and Physicians.However, I would try to get referred to another allergist.

Dr Luciuk is 10/10 he knows exactly what he’s talking about with a lot of experience, the process was simple and fast! The staff are so friendly and efficient. I was originally in 2 minds of going after reading some reviews but cannot disagree with the 1* reviews more! I was offered the option of medication that I do need but was told it was my decision to have the Medication ordered as once ordered it was non refundable but I can claim it back from my insurance. The whole appointment went above and beyond my expectations. I will be back to order my medication and again for check ups. 5* from me!
