Farzad's Barber Shop

I have been going to Farzad’s Barber Shop every month since 2007, when I moved into the neighbourhood in Yaletown.Farzad is an experienced barber and consistently provides excellent cuts. The atmosphere at the shop, which he runs with his wife, Shelley and another barber Noriko is excellent. Super friendly, funny, and welcoming environment.Highly recommended!

I have been a customer of Farzad's for almost 13 years now and have not had a single bad experience in all these years. I got to know Farzad as a very dedicated, positive, polite and all-around solid barber. Even so he has cut my hair many times, he still asks every time what I would like , etc just to make sure I get exactly what I want. I really like that the salon is open early so that I can get my cut before I go to work. That makes a huge difference for me and I am sure for many of his clients. There are for sure not a lot of barber shops that open at 7:00am and stay open late if needed. Seeing Farzad ones a month is a treat as he knows how to relax his clients, how to listen and in the end, how to pamper them. Would not go to a different barber if you pay me.

Farzad is the most skilled barber in Vancouver. Excellent hair cut, excellent shop, excellent attitude. Always professional and happy. This is more than just a hair cut or shave, it is a therapeutic experience.

I have been going to get shaves and haircuts from Noriko and Farzad for 10 years. I feel so fortunate to have such a warm welcoming, honest, talented and friendly establishment in my neighbourhood. Shelley, Noriko and Farzad deliver a masterclass in how a successful small business should be run: Respect for their customers, respect for their craft, no unhealthy ego, an understanding of what their customers want, an ability to grow and develop, and never a single compromise in quality of product or service. As long as I live in Vancouver, and as long as Farzad, Shelley and Noriko will have me, this is my barbershop. (And if you ever want to fall deeply asleep while getting a straight razor shave, go see Noriko: Touch of an angel.) PS. They let you bring your dog if it is well behaved.

Farzad is the best. In a mechanized digital world, sitting in Farzad’s barber chair is a relaxing experience. I organize my schedule to drive from Olympia WA to get my haircut from Farzad. His schedule is full which is a testament to his skill and value. With some creative organizing I can schedule and arrive without being late. And… if you like motorcycles, it’s doubly good. Farzad’s is the best place in Vancouver, and I’d argue and say the best place in all of Western Canada to go and get a haircut. The service is exceptional, conversation is always fantastic, and the price is more than reasonable. If you want a great experience with some really genuine and down-to-earth people, I’d suggest getting your next cut from Farzad. No matter if you’re a regular or a new client, Farzad treats you with respect and kindness that is incredibly infectious. Your bound to leave looking and feeling 10x better than when you walked in. Farzad is a one unique character. The most special barber shop and haircut I have ever got. He is great and his work is awesome. His shop is one of the must go spots in Vancouver.
