We ordered fish cakes, fish and chips and Greek salad. Interesting fact: their Greek salad came with no feta cheese!!!We were told that this place is very famous for their fish and chips- and it it true! One of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. However, the breading of Chafe’s Landing is better in my opinion.The fish cakes weren’t listed on their lunch menu, but when we asked they were available!Quick and friendly service!

Best deep fried cod I've ever had. Dated environment has charm. Don't eat on the patio or you'll miss out on the experience. Service was very fast. High table rotation makes for short waits.

Hands down the best fish and chips we ever had! We were in town for only a few days and couldn’t resist going back for the second time.

The bar is smaller and can get crowded and hot very quickly. Despite the bar being packed the service was great! Drinks and food came very quick. The fish and chips were incredible as it was reccomended by several of the local newfoundlanders. Overall a pleasant experience.

Fresh caught Cod Fish n Chips was good. Light and flaky. Hot Turkey Sandwich was moist and dressing was tasty. Clam chowder was delicious. Turkey Pot pie was on salty side with burnt onion rings.Overall average pub food. Cozy lounge with a few VLTs. They do have a small outdoor patio at the rear. Check them out.

Best fish and chips I've ever had on my travels. I also love that they offer the dish in a pan-fried form for those of us who can't handle the heaviness of traditional beer-battered fried fish. They also offer to include gravy with your side of fries, so you can cross off both Canadian/Newfoundland culinary musts on one go: cod and poutine.
