Travelodge by Wyndham Kenora

The lady at the front desk was nice but when I get to my room, it was not cleaned from the previous person that was there. When we relocated rooms, we got put in a room that reeked of dog and a musty smell. It was really hard to lay on the bed for this reason because it just smelt so bad. There were stains on the carpet and on my bedsheets. The walls were super thin and you could hear everything. The pool and hot tub were not in use. I personally wouldn’t recommend.

It's a pretty gross hotel. The carpet had cigarette burns and was filthy, I would not walk bare feet on them, it even felt slightly damp by the window. The window sills look like they have never been cleaned with caked on dirt and grim, and this was the room I made them switch me to.The first room they put me in was in there other building attached to a restaurant. The door to entire the building was just unlocked and it did not have an attendee, it did not feel very safe. It was very musty smelling, stained carpets throughout and literally full thrash bags in the hall was. The room was dark and musty. The mattress was wrapped in a weird plastic bag so you could even see the condition of it, probably was not replaced for decades. Avoid.

Crack heads everywhere….My car was broken into last night, and I had numerous personal items stolen. The Hotel does not have security cameras in the parking area and when asked, the staff balked, told me there is nothing they can do and that’s tough luck. The lack of any basic security feature at this day and age is just being cheap.Additionally, the floor on the second level was crooked and looked like it was gonna give way, but the night staff was very nice and the beds were clean.Basically the hotel was overpriced for the quality of location. Would not recommend staying if you are driving a car.

Wow I’m glad I read the reviews after I stayed lol. I thought the room was great! Staff was very friendly! Reasonably priced, the pillows ARE amazing. Restaurant and pool currently closed, and the walls are a bit thin. Other than that no complaints, I’d stay here again.

Room was expensive for what you got. Pool was closed and we were not told when booking. Carpets are old and need to be changed. We had cracks in the ceiling in our room and the one pillow case had blood stains on it

Beds were comfy and staff were kind. The room was stinky and floors were stained. Sad the pool was closed and we weren’t notified before we got there.

The cost of staying at this hotel is not reasonable. The room is our date, the temperature is difficult to change, and the bathtub requires plumbing. Location is good and McDonald is just beside.

This place is horrendous for the price they are charging. Due to a travel delay this was the only room available. The floor in the room was so dirty I was afraid to walk in my socks or bare feet. When I told the front desk staff of my disappointment I was hung up on.

Do NOT stay here. We were travelling and getting tired and unfortunately every other hotel was full in this town. The room we were given was on the second floor, no elevator and staircase was dirty was musty smelling, carpet filthy. Upon entering the room the carpet was not much better lighting dim and the next morning I was covered in bed bug bites (over 30 bites all over my body). Disgusting!!!! Never ever would I stay here again. Don’t waste your time and money stopping here. Shame on Travelodge!

Not the best place I've ever stayed. But for the price, not a bad place. I read the reviews and didn't run into any of those issues, fortunately.The bed and pillows were comfy. The shower water pressure was alright but the water was super hot! The lighting around the room was dim but that wasn't much of an issue.My only issue was that the room wasn't very soundproof. I could hear every door closing. the chatter in the hallways was super loud. I could even hear the car doors closing outside.I'd come back to this place if I had to again. But it wouldn't be my first choice.
