Michael is absolutely amazing! So many good things from my husband and I to say on his work for our wedding video. We decided we wanted a video quite late in our wedding process - but we're so glad that we did. From the moment we met Michael - his easygoing personality and immense dedication to growing his craft shone through. We fell in love with his storytelling, personality, and dedication to details. The planning process with him felt like a breeze as he made it very straightforward and easy for us, and we appreciated how he gently reminding us of possibilities of what we could do for our video.On the day of, Michael and his secondary photographer fit right in with our guests - our family and close friends passed on the message on how wonderful he was interacting with them. As a special treat, he surprised us with a day-of highlight reel on our evening, which we found to be a really special moment to watch as it helped us take in, and relive, the moments of our day. This was also incorporated into a next day teaser (we're so in awe of how quickly he worked!).The final video was gorgeous - we felt it truly captured what we're like as a couple (pretty jokey but sweet and loving), and we so enjoyed seeing all the small moments of our family and friends. We're thrilled sharing this with our loved ones and have had great feedback on Micheal's work from them. If you're looking for a videographer with an amazing eye, great storytelling & artistry, and is someone who feels like a best friend throughout your wedding journey - Michael's definitely your guy :)

Wow! We can't believe how incredible our videos turned out. We've watched them with our families a bunch of times and still can't get over it. Michael was a total pro and went above and beyond in creating the most perfect videos for us. We can't recommend Wild is the Heart enough - thanks again Michael!!

What can we say? Michael did such a perfect job we wouldn’t have had any body else capture our day- honestly the best videographer we could have ever wished for. Thank you so so much!!!Throughout the whole process Michael was so professional and understanding of our needs. To add, we came over to Canada, where my husband is from, a week before the wedding- for the build up to the big day we were at our home in the U.K.. Michael was so amazing with communication, quick responses and just really made us feel at ease that we knew we’d chosen the right person to do our videography even though we only met in real life for the first time on the day of the wedding.The footage itself is astounding, (and that’s coming from people who work in the film & tv industry)- at Wild Is The Heart they use state of the art equipment- 4K & drones, just wow- the results look like a Hollywood movie!Again, we can’t thank Michael & his team enough. It was so fun working with Michael on our wedding day. He really did a great job helping us feel comfortable in our skin and captured a lot of lovely moments. Hubby and I both agree that hiring Michael was one of the best decisions we've made for the wedding. Cannot recommend him enough!

Michael is the best!I had the opportunity to work with Michael on a very tricky elopement on a small island in a stormy weather. It's very important for your photographer and videographer to get along in order to deliver a good experience for you on a normal wedding day let a long when things go wrong with weather. But Michael wasn't just an amazing professional but like my best friend that day and totally embraced the weather conditions and captured it as a lovely memory! It was so easy and fun to work with him. I could see how happy was the bride that her creative team was just on top of things. Video can be very tricky and hard when it comes to rain, wind and storm. He did not complain once and made the best out of the weather and tough conditions. He was very supportive and made it super easy for the bride and groom and his final product was absolutely amazing!As an experienced wedding professional I highly recommend Michael of Wild is the Heart. He is your new best friend and he creates with his heart and an amazing eye.

Michael was super easy to work with from the start. We had several virtual planning sessions, and he was accommodating when we needed to reschedule the wedding due to COVID. Michael and his second videographer were both hard working and friendly during the wedding. They gave us fun prompts for the video, and they kept things moving by checking out the venue surroundings and making sure that we had enough time for sunset shots. He also worked very well with our photographers which made the whole experience so much easier. Aside from the videography, he even helped us with other things, like suggesting other vendor recommendations and giving us tips on how to find the right equipment for our live stream. Michael is definitely someone you want to have on your vendor team. Thank you for everything!!

Michael is incredible. He is kind and compassionate. He has the rare gift of understanding what's important to you on a deeper level, and capturing your best qualities as others see them. He quickly established himself as a friend, and it is easy to be comfortable and authentic with him. He is nonjudgemental and open to ideas, especially when they veer away from the conventional. The wedding video I received was everything and more. Apart from being visually beautiful (which it is), it shows our loved ones exactly as they are and exactly as I hope to remember them. He went above and beyond in every way, from his contact before and after the wedding, to distance traveled, hours worked and providing bonuses outside of our package. His passion and commitment to storytelling are evident. I would recommend him over and over to anyone.

I don't even know where to start because Michael was just AMAZING. There are no words but I will try!!! We were one of the unfortunate covid couples who had to replan our wedding in less than a month (which is how much notice I gave Michael). In such a short period of time he was able to get a feel for who we were as a couple and capture the most incredible wedding video at our cottage elopement. The video is more than we could have imagined, the song choice was perfect, it's funny and heartfelt and didn't miss a thing. Not only was the final product worth every single penny, but Michael and his team were such a joy to work with. They were on time, ready to go, easy going and stepped up to help when a tropical storm was casually tearing our wedding apart (lol). They went above and beyond, helped our guests, helped move furniture inside, held umbrellas and still managed to create a beautiful video. I hope I did this review justice - LOOK NO FURTHER. THEY'RE THE BEST.

Words cannot express how thrilled we are with our wedding video! Michael literally captured every amazing moment of our special day (right down to the perfect timing of falling leaves!) and really told the love story that was our wedding day :) We've had so many friends and family (even those that didn't attend our wedding) tell us how they've cried watching our video and have told us how amazing and well done our video is. From prompt responses to any and all questions, to his quick delivery of our final video, Michael was an absolute dream vendor to work with!
