As in many (all?) provinces in Canada, the sale and distribution of alcohol in Quebec is government-controlled... which means no competition" and sullen (sometimes rude) service... with rare exceptions. This particular store is rated (by me) as a 2-star establishment. During approximately 15 visits

an union leaded store. 17h lunch time, no matter how many customers in line. it kind of be a serious problem on south shore, never had this kind of issue in laval.during their strike, some staff were talking about it in front of customers. when i told him that we were not there to hear them complaint about their conditions, he stopped.

Nice, normal sized saq, with, as usual, too few staff to get help quickly at the crunch times ( week end afterrnons, for example). Otgerwise alcohol choices are ok. Good parking. Staff is feeiendly when you get one. Mostly knowledgeable too.
