I bought a knit sweater that was advertised to be size XL. Instead I got a size L that was shrunken to size small. They did make a vague offer to 'hook me up next time' if I were to buy from them again.

I gotta say, having been a buyer for two of the most famous vintage stores in Toronto I was a little skeptical about what Whitby might have to offer but these guys deliver! The product is really well curated and nicely organized, the prices are totally fair and the staff are super nice. I didn't have a ton of time to look so only got a pair of shorts this time but my eye spied some great single stich 70s tees, lots of 90s band tees and even a couple late 50s poly-blend print button ups.If you know the difference between a vintage store and a thrift store this is where you shop.

My favourite store in Durham. Really great pieces you won’t find anywhere else. The owner/staff are always really cool and friendly. Definitely a unique place that I always am stopping by whenever I’m in downtown Whitby
