This is a unique forest area that could qualify as an 'urban forest.' A lot of good plant life and tree life that thrives out here. A lot of good animal life. However it does have human interference with garbage thrown around. An area worth liking and worth preserving.

Except for the destruction happening because of the TransMountainPipeline, it’s beautiful.

Terrain is mostly flat and we spent about 2 hours walking from the trail head up to near Braid Skytrain Station and back, crossing North Road on the way and passing through Hume Park in which we took a good relaxing rest 1 hour rest at its very nice pavilion with tables and benches.

Great walking trail with plenty of eye catchin sceneries including river, creeks, bogs, etc. The trail is mostly flat with limitted sitting benches. Access to some areas are restricted due to ecosystem sensitivity. Dogs are allowed on leash only.

Great place to go for a walk or run. Not crowded and very quiet.
