We just returned from a getaway at Trillium Resort and Spa, and are really happy with the experience. We booked a chalet for the night, including dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed the autumn weather and the two hiking trails, especially the beautiful leaves. The setting is so lovely. The chalet was cozy and romantic. The food was very good, and service very friendly and professional. I didn’t use the spa so I can’t comment on that.I find their website a bit lacking, and they are slow to respond to email, so I would just call them directly. We will definitely return. We spoke of making it an annual autumn trip.

Really picturesque spot, but not enough bang for your buck (especially for a winter wedding). Our chalet had a lovely fireplace, but other than that, it was pretty basic. The one ply toilet paper rule is brutal. The walk up to the chalet was rough and someone had a squirrel in their cabin.Staff were generally quite accommodating during our time there. However, the sauna wasn’t going and any bonfires were the responsibility of the guests. We found it difficult on the day of the wedding to work within the venue for a variety of reasons. Also parking is MINIMAL!

My wife and I were looking for a nice quiet get away location for us to relax and enjoy ourselves before we had our first child and Trillium Resort was it. A quiet get away from the hustle of city life, pool, lake side hammocks, rustic chalet, lovely food and friendly service. This is not a location for those accustomed to tech and catered servicing or for child entertainment. This is for adults to go off grid. They have free wifi available and the connection is good, but really you come with a couple books and sit up by the pool or lie back in the hammocks. As is to be expected in the woods, mosquitoes were a plenty so bring your deet. The country trails were marked but need to be maintained a bit better as we couldn't get half way on either due to brush and ivy. We will definitely come again while the kids are at camp in the future.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here 5 years ago and just celebrated our anniversary here as a well. Both times we were treated like royalty. The atmosphere is calm and quiet. The food is always on point because of Joe, the cook. The spa services were exactly what we needed to relax. The cottages have been renovated so elegantly. We are never disappointed. We always leave refreshed and wanting more. This will always be our spot to go to relax. Thanks again Trillium team.

Serene location with picturesque views of Devine Lake and a stunning rushing waterfall at the bridge. Sooooo blessedly quiet! I stayed in one of the renovated cottages and thoroughly enjoyed my relaxing solo trip to unwind and enjoy the amenities. Loved the gas fireplace, comfy bed, new bath, and small kitchenette. A hot plate or some way to cook a simple meal would be ideal, but the cottage did include a microwave, toaster, tea kettle, and nice coffee maker (including decaf!). Great hiking trails that may or may not be accessible depending on the time of year. I did hike a snow-packed trail (the old Skidoo trail) that was groomed and had interesting landscapes with several waterfalls deep into the forest. Staff were all super helpful and small-town friendly. WIFI is available in your accommodation and is probably fast enough for most uses; I wouldn't count on constant reliability for any important video streaming (I used Zoom a few times and found it glitchy). The main lodge has many DVDs you can borrow. The dining hall is beautiful, but the food seemed lacklustre. I only had breakfast there once, but was skimpy & so-so quality. Didn't try the spa services, but the hot tub was hot and the sauna was amazing when it was hot (might need to be stocked with more wood more regularly). If you're looking for peace and quiet in Muskoka, there is probably no better place to rest and recharge!

Nice Place . We spent 2 days there recently & it was fully worth it.The moment I found out that it was a dog friendly place I picked up the phone a Booked it without even reading a single review. We good the Lakeside Chateau & took the food package which covered Dining & Breakfast everyday.Check in was a breeze, Jennifer was new but was super friendly & very chatty. I was disappointed to find out that the pool was not open as when I was booking I was told that it was going to be open & functional. Was also told that Sauna wont be functional (Later they told me at dinner time That it was up.Pros:Decent Beach with Paddle Boards, Canoes, Hammoks etc.Tennis Court (It was fun)Sauna (Did Not Use)Hot Tub (Did not Use it).Pool (Was not Open)Dining room was Nice.Main Building was nice.3 Course Dinner.Great Food.Great Servers.Breakfast Omelets were to die For.Chateau was nice enough.(No Ac but had many fans & Ac was not missed).Bikes.Cons:No Smart Tv's Or Video Streaming options.DVD's were available to be Borrowed from the main Building which gave it a nice nostalgic touch. There were lights around the Chateaus but nothing got turned on & it was pitch dark everynight. I went up & down many times & there was just no visibility. The Regular cottages were surrounded by functional lights but upgraded Chateaus were kind of neglected.Only one Tennis ball was available & we almost lost it. (Not a Biggie). No real RMT at the Spa although Trinity was overall still good.In general I found the place way batter then some of the reviews & would definitely recommend it.

We just got married at Trillium (Oct 2022) and I must say that it turned out even better than we could have ever imagined! We selected this resort for our wedding purely based on photos and reviews we found online, and it certainly exceeded our expectations! Everything just happened so seamlessly and I don’t think there was a single thing that went wrong all weekend, thanks to the staff that were all so courteous, professional and helpful. Many of the cabins had been recently renovated over the summer and were very clean and comfortable to stay in. Hopefully the rest will be upgraded soon too! All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and commented on how beautiful the location/venue is and how delicious all the food was, and we could not agree more! The trout in particular was surprisingly a big hit! We are extremely pleased with the way everything went and are looking forward to returning to the resort in the future.

We had our wedding at Trillium on New Year’s Eve 2022. The resort was an absolute dream. From the rooms, to the food, to the hospitality, the day, and more, we could not have asked for a better wedding day/location. We had the venue for the entire weekend which was a nice getaway. The meal provided during the BBQ rehearsal dinner was also a hit and the evening was lovely. All of our guests absolutely loved their time and we all had a blast. We didn’t receive one bad comment from guests and for medium sized weddings that’s very rare to come by!Here are a few notes to add:- we had 96 guests and we would not have wanted any more as it felt cramped. The seating charts they give you are not to scale so it was surprising when we were there how cramped it really was.- having to bring decorations and for what I felt was a normal amount for a wedding the staff setting up for the day seemed very stressed out so be prepared to have a small team of friends or family to help set up and tear down and make your dream come to life. (To us this wasn’t an issue)- having a winter wedding be prepared for the road conditions heading into the resort. We were worried about this the day of not realizing it wasn’t a maintained road consistently so our guests and shuttle service had a heck of a time getting down the road.Overall, these few things to us didn’t alter or affect our day and we would do our wedding there again in a heart beat. 10/10 recommend Trillium resort!

Beautiful property in Muskoka. Staff were excellent. Especially the chef! Food was fantastic. Rooms could use some updating. Definitely recommend.
