Dr. Lochab performed an anterior hip replacement on me last November 2021 . From the initial process with Sheila getting me all organized for surgery through the surgery with Dr. Lochab and post op appointments I could not be happier. I was able to walk out of surgery the same day and was mobile in no time once I got home with little or no pain .It is now 4 months later and the hip is great ! Thank you Dr. Lochab for a job well done!

Dr. Lochab is a true professional Surgeon. Both he and Sheila were efficient in helping my 83 year old mother get her new hip surgery. Even during these challenging times. Dr. Lochab was thorough in his explanation of the Anterior Hip procedure. His bedside manner was excellent. His surgical precision followed in step with his character. Dr. Lochab did my right hip replacement. Results were outstanding golfing in 4 months with no issues. His method of anterior hip replacement results in a 5 inch scar , no physio required and I was walking up and stairs with no pain in 3 weeks with a cane. Went to Disney 5 months after and walked 15000 steps a day no problems. Great bedside manner highly recommend him and if and when my left hip goes he is my choice of physician.

Dr. Lochab and Sheila are really great. They made me feel comfortable and at ease from the moment I met both of them. My surgery went off without a hitch and the recovery has been amazing. Dr. Lochab’s bedside manner is excellent. He really takes the time to listen to you and explain things so you can understand them, which is really appreciated. My right hip was replaced with the anterior approach on December 3 and I was walking comfortably within 2 weeks. I have just booked my left hip to be done later this year. I can’t wait!

Dr Lochab has changed my quality of life with the anterior hip replacement surgery he performed. I can now sit, stand, squat without any pain what so ever. Dr Lochab explained all the pros and cons of the operation and my follow-up appointments were timely and informative. On the day of the surgery Dr Lochab talked me through what the process was in a calm and reassuring manner. Following the plan for recovery, the rehabilitation was quick and uncomplicated. If you ever had doubts about hip replacement surgery then I would recommend Dr Lochab as your surgeon. Dr Lochab's support staff at Mississauga Physiotherapy and Orthopedic Centre were informative and helped me complete all the paperwork, as well as setting up and explaining what appointments I would have.

A great experience overall. Mr. Lochab is extremely competent surgeon. His support staff were excellent and caring too. Surgery is not a pleasant experience, but every step of the way was taken care of in a professional and helpful manner. Thank you so much!

In November 2021 my 89-year-old relative with osteoporosis needed emergency total hip replacement surgery. She had a fall in August 2020, and had a pin-and-plate surgical hip repair from a different doctor for her broken hip but the bone did not heal properly around the equipment. Her pin-and-plate hip was not able to support her weight properly and the pain was terrible. So she was referred to Dr. Lochab for total hip replacement surgery. It was difficult surgery because first he had to remove the existing pin and plate and then put in the artificial hip and socket. He did a great job and after some rehab at Credit Valley Hospital she was able to return home. She can walk within her apartment with a rollator. Most importantly, by about 8 weeks after surgery, all of the pain was gone. It has greatly improved her quality of life. Many thanks to Dr. Lochab. PS We have never had to wait more than a few minutes for appointments at his office at City Centre. The handicapped parking is free if you put in your license plate number in the parking machine and put the ticket on your dashboard before entering the building.

Dr Lochab is a very skilled doctor with an amazing personality. He patiently answered my questions. He provided a calm reassuring chat before surgery. He called post surgery to check up on me.I give him 6 out of 5 stars!Sheila, his assistant is a priceless gem! She treated me liie a relative with her patience and concern. She is also a 6 stars out of 5!

I came in for a pretty bad ankle break but I really wanted to say thanks Dr. Lochab, and the entire team, first day of recovery, I feel very well taken care of. Just prior to going under I feel like I was really put at ease. Not just with the reassuring words but the entire atmosphere and demeanour of the Dr and the team. They know what they’re doing. They know each other and they get along which makes for a great team handling and caring for delicate matters with their patients. Any risks post operation was very well covered. The surgery went well and I hope I won’t need another one, but I’d go again.
