Walmart Pharmacy

Always terrible service at this pharmacy. Staff do not acknowledge you and carry on with random chit chat. Or they focus so hard on their screens so they don't acknowledge you. Even when they finally acknowledge you, they stop and chit chat over their shoulders. Unprofessional service.

I always go to this Walmart for the daily shopping, but this is my first time going to the pharmacy with my baby girl. There is an Asian staff named Lin, she has very bad attitude to us. She said it’s one hour waiting time and we are very busy . I said I am ok. And then she said I will call you doctor for the detail, I don’t know how long gonna take. I said I am ok. After 2 minutes, she called me she said I can not reach to your doctor. I just came back and grabbed my prescription. Then I called my doctor, just one time I reached them. I came back to Lin and asked her “are you sure you call them?”She said yes rudely .I can not trust her. I don’t know why her attitude was so bad to a woman with a baby. I am so disappointed at this pharmacy.Please don’t go there. You are gonna be treated like me.

I wish I can give zero, staff are careless and always made a mistake, instead of fixing it, they just ignore you, normally pharmacy staff must be very good in technology and soft skills, or at least one of them, but Walmart heartland pharmacy does not have any skills.

The pharmacists and associates are very friendly and always ready to assist you. Remember, it's a pharmacy and it's staff demand the same courtesy from its customers from the amount of work they put in!

Occasionally they have some kind, thoughtful pharmacists at this location, but not always. Yesterday, I went to pick up my monthly prescription medication that is covered by OHIP. I handed her my health card and she charged me $230 without blinking. I did get my money back but it blows my freaking mind that she wouldn’t ask me about my insurance coverage before charging me (I’m under 25) and made me feel like I was being out of line when I told her there was a mistake and she shouldn’t have charged me that much. It just made an awful day worse. There are better pharmacies with people who care a little more, out there.

Super slow. Not enough people working at such a large Walmart. You have to wait several minutes until they’re finished doing whatever to just pick up prescription. Brutal

Total chaos and unorganized work flow. No clear area to line up. Stood 15 minutes being ignored by available staff. An elderly man was also asking for help and was being shuffled from one staff member to the next. Will not be filling prescriptions with them again. Terrible service.

Called so many times to confirm if prescription has arrived. nobody is answering!!! i went there to get the medicine and told that it was not on stock. If only they answered my call then time wont be wasted. i have a sick child i need to take care of.

Terrible experience!! They do not care about people.The pharmacist did not know what the medicine prescribed was so chose to lie to me stating the doctor forgot to write a part of the prescription so she would need to fax it to the hospital. 24 hours later and no response. In this 24 hours my father was in pain and had no medication because of the pharmacists incompetence.When I took my prescription back from them and took it to Shoppers Drug Mart, they filled the prescription within minutes.
