Joan and her team helped me move from Toronto to Halifax and they were incredibly understanding of my timeline and remained responsive the whole time.Joan had sent me the the quote and had informed me that no hidden fees would be applied—and she meant it! It was also much more affordable than many other companies without any compromise in quality.The move itself was nothing short of fantastic. Fragile items were very thoroughly padded and no items went missing or damaged. The crew knew exactly what they were doing.I would highly recommend Reasonable Trucking for anyone looking to move.

Reasonable Trucking movers were absolutely wonderful! We were nervous about picking a moving company for our move from Toronto to Halifax because of all the negative stories we’d heard. Gordon and his team were awesome! Very professional, polite, courteous and respectful. Also a big shout out to Joan and the admin staff for being communicative and organized. They kept us in the loop every step of the way and our stuff arrived in a timely manner.

Everything about Reasonable Trucking is fantastic. I had a lot of worries about choosing a reliable and trustworthy carrier, because I got inundated with quotes from dozens of companies. However, Reasonable Trucking is a family owned business for 30 years based in Halifax, and they turned out to be full value and more. It can be a bit nervy wandering into the moving company field, and I hit the jackpot with this one. Joan and the guys at Reasonable Trucking were incredible. They were extremely kind, detail oriented, and careful moving our stuff from Toronto to Halifax. They offered to store our stuff for an undetermined amount of time until we found a permanent place in Halifax, and were kind enough to deliver boxes to us at our temporary house. This is really a friendly family-oriented team who puts their customers first. They were truly the best welcome to east coast hospitality for me and my partner!

My original experience with RTL was in August 2019 moving from Toronto to Dartmouth NS. My belongings were all handled and moved with exceptional care. RTL made me feel like I was their most valuable customer. Recently my elderly parents had to move from their home of 47 years into an apartment in a Retirement Residence in ON. This was a very emotional and stressful time for my family. I contacted Joan at RTL to arrange moving some furniture and belongings from my parent’s home in Midland ON to Dartmouth NS for my daughter and me. Joan’s kindness, compassion, professionalism throughout this experience was very much appreciated. When the original pick up date had to be rescheduled by two months, the willingness and flexibility of RTL to accommodate was such a relief. The move itself went without a hitch. The movers were very professional, courteous and hardworking. All the furniture and belongings were handled with exceptional.care. RTL is an excellent moving company and I would definitely hire them again.

We moved from Barrie On. to a small village in New Brunswick. The crew from Reasonable Trucking are awesome. They handled the move with professional care and timely delivery. If you choose this company, rest easily that your things will be safe and delivered with great care for a reasonable price.

I initially chose another supposedly reputable family owned business in Halifax over Reasonable Trucking because the former have a smaller truck which would help me eliminate the cost of needing a smaller shuttle to deliver and pickup my things. What a big mistake that was!After a bad experience with the first mover who picked up my things and added hidden charges after they were in possession of my items and altogether refusing to deal with my questions, I called up Reasonable Trucking to have my things picked up from the other mover and transported to Toronto. Reasonable Trucking really was a lifesaver - they were quick to find a compatible date and worked on short notice to complete the paperwork and insurance needs. Their service was impeccable throughout - Joan always offers advice and insurance recommendations which are in your best interests.What’s more, they offer insurance that covers the entire move including the months of storage, unlike the other movers who charge you for each leg of the journey! When there was an issue due to the actual weight of my items being lower than the estimate provided, even though I had signed my contract agreeing to pay for the estimated weight, RTL was willing to work with me to meet in the middle and waive a part of the cost - which they honestly were not obligated to do but did so anyway which further testifies to how reasonable they are, not just in name but also in the way they operate.I received all my items from them in Toronto in excellent shape after two months of storage, with not a single scratch or dent. I would recommend them a million times because they are family owned, trustworthy, fair and transparent.Not only were their rates among the best I found even after including the shuttle fees, they are such nice people and a pleasure to deal with. Joan, Gordon and Jimmy genuinely treat you and your belongings with respect. They are an outlier in the moving business and those wishing to move should look no further than Reasonable Trucking.

We used reasonable trucking to move from Toronto,ON to Summerside, PEI and back to Toronto again last year. From our initial conversation about estimated cost to getting everything delivered on time/in good condition, the company has done a wonderful job. Such great people to work with, easy to talk to and so helpful in making sure our belongings arrived safely.
