Winter Music Studio

My son has been learning piano with teachers in Winter Music Studio for a year. His skills improved a lot, and the teachers are all nice and patient. During the COVID-19 pandemic we had to do online learning, I didn’t expect it to be efficient but it turned out to be successful. The teachers tried their best to help the students.

Winter Dong is a professional, hard working and responsible piano teacher. She is helpful and kind to make my kid succeed passing violin level 4 and 6 RCM exam. I appreciated for her accompany of piano and hearing teach I highly recommend her as your kids teacher.

My child has training music theory 8 with Winter Music Studio this summer. The teacher was very professional and showed lots of patient for students. She encouraged students to ask questions after class and explained quickly on email. if students still not understand, she would help the students individually before the class. We appreciate all the support from winter music studio’s teachers! Finally my son got 98 mark! Unbelievable! Great school! Great teacher! And great program!

My kid took the 5-8 theory class and finish level 8 theory exam with a nice grade. The teacher is nice and patient. They send the couse material ahead and review and mark the homework before next class. During class Winter made sure all students get a chance to answer questions and she responded homework questions promptly. I am glad I chose this course. It saved my time and money to reach our goal satisfied. I recommend it.

Very nice place worth you visiting!!!The teachers have professional piano education standards and are very patient with the students. Mis Winter and Ran taught me to face the problems of the exam and achieved high scores. The charged price is also very reasonable.

Very cold place, don’t care about their paying students, money first, passion and the well being of their students second should be their motto. Totally destroyed any enthusiasm that a young student might have, very short patience. The Owner doesn’t stand behind her claims, always looks for a way to book another paid lesson, as its always the students fault not the teaching methods, very high on themselves. Might be less damaging place for older students, but for young students whom need inspiration it’s a very bad place. Irresponsible will book a time and then when you show up be hidden away in some back room, nobody knows where they are and they don’t come out to find you, just keep you waiting until the lessons over and then say you missed it. They also have a very strict policy No Refunds for anything. So buyer beware. All in all I’m very sorry I went to this studio, which was based partially on positive reviews which I saw here, I felt it fair to warn others of the potential for encountering the same very poor experience which I have. ☹*** UPDATE ****The reply from the owner is incorrect we were offered a total of three tutorial classes, the first one my daughter attended, the second one my daughter attempted to attend, we had dropped her off at the scheduled time and there was nobody to greet her. hence no tutorial class was possible I had personally asked if the studio was able to help my daughter better prepare for the next exam, I was told flat out by the owner that they were to busy and didn't have time""

My experience here was amazing! Although COVID-19 had affected us all to online learning, the experience and results were no different! I have taken classes here for a couple of months, with prior experience from piano, and I had come here to prepare for my theory exam. I recently finished my exam, with very good results all thanks to this studio! They have taught me so much over a short amount of time! My class was great because there wasn't many students, so our teacher was able to pay equal amounts of attention to all students. Ms. Winter would also answer all the questions and concerns I had, to the content, with very high profession and clarity, really focusing on making us succeed, which is what we are here for. I absolutely love this place, and will definitely be continuing here! Highly recommend!

Ms. Winter is a great teacher! She is very knowledgeable and patient with kids! And the theory course is well designed and structured! My kid benefited tremendously from the Level 8 theory course!

It's a nice studio and the owner is very kind and considerate. The teachers are very professional and care about the students. If you live in Richmond Hill area and want your kids to have a quality music learning experience, I'd definitely recommend this studio.

Winter Music studio provides different music program for different age groups. Respecting to different students, they have progress for them. Enjoy learning music instruments, experience more about our life. Even the babies and toddlers, it’s the greatest time to join in! Love the live music and activities so much!
