The Lobster Crate
This was my first experience dinning here. 4 of us locals decided to meet here for a lunch. I ordered the meatloaf, boiled red potatoes and creamed style corn. 2 nice slices of meatloaf which was close to mom's. A bottle of Dr. Pepper to drink for a total of $ 12.10. We were all satisfied.

Really enjoyed eating at this family owned and operated restaurant. The grandkids catch the lobster, restaurant cooks it and you eat it and it's great everytime at a reasonable price. We also purchased several live lobsters to cook ourselves.... we'll be back everytime we're in the Bar Harbor area. The restaurant also serves breakfast all day and have other entree's as well.

After 2 weeks in and around Eastport we decided the Lobster Crate serves the best lobster roll of all. Interior and kitchen was also super clean.

We stopped here for dinner to go one night and breakfast the next morning before heading out of town. Really, really enjoyed the lobster rolls (mayo based and super delicious) and the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. Liz was delightful and friendly both times!

My favourite lobster roll I’ve had in Maine so far. Extremely flavourful, not overbearingly heavy and *very* reasonably priced compared to others I’ve eaten/seen.

Breakfast...blueberry pancakes packed with blueberries, waffles, lobster pizza and breakfast burrito all hearty good food served quickly, coffee was excellent...better not to charge for REAL maple syrup...just give smaller quantities...so the piggies don't use the whole jug!
