Empty Hand Combat

My two kids (8&6) and I, just completed family camp at Empty Hand Combat dojo. I liked what they were learning in regular classes so much I decided to join as well. Master Cosmo challenges adults and kids on all levels, physical, spiritual, mental and emotional. He genuinely cares about people and has large dreams of improving the world, one life at a time. Even when classes were extremely challenging my boys were waking up early, excited to train. The camp was an intense week of kung fu training that strengthened our family and us as individuals. Master Cosmo and his team, have created something extraordinarily special at this dojo, where they balance disciple and encouragement. They are truly changing lives. Master Cosmo is not shy about his very human struggles, which is encouraging to folks of all ages. You can tell his assistants and staff all believe in his vision, and the dojo is a beacon of light in this uncertain world. I would highly recommend this dojo to anyone, who is searching.

I have known Cosmo for years, he is an awesome instructor and a wonderful spiritual inspiration. His love for God really shows. He gave my daughter free training for years. She is a self disciplined hard working young lady as a result of his teaching. I recommend Cosmo Zimik to anyone who wants their child to learn Martial Arts .

Everyone at Empty Hand Combat is absolutely amazing. My 4 year old son has been going for a few months now and has improved his behavior in so many ways. The owner, Cosmo is one of the most amazing people I've met. You will feel like family after a week at the dojo! Respect, courage, faith, positivity and strength will be learned here.

We have been a part of the Empty Hand Combat family for over a year and we love it. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, wise and hard working. We noticed a difference in our 7 year old son right away, he loves to come and I'm thankful for the opportunity to come for him to help others in their leadership programs. I highly reccomend their week long camps.

Love this place! My son is a young five year old. They always welcome him with lots of support and friendship. The kids really operate as a team and support each other every step of their Kung Fu journey.

Cosmo and his team came to Celebration Church in Nampa and did some training with out team. He is an amazing instructor and really has a heart for people. He spent aLot of time going over techniques. My kids love this dojo so much. It is such a positive environment. We are a month in and so far its been so amazing, I can easily see the change in my kiddos!!

Empty hand combat it’s such an amazing and positive environment. My son just started, and absolutely loves it! Everyone we have come in contact with have been so encouraging and supportive to him!We have only been there a very short amount of time, but we already feel part of the team and not just a number or a paycheck.
