LMC Healthcare Calgary

I have been a patient of Dr. Ajal for a few years now and because I have not been in to see her in over a year now because of isolation. I have been told they will not renew my prescription without a new referral from a family doctor. I do not have a family doctor. So explain to me how am I suppose to get my meds? I love how protocol is more important then the health of your patients. So I guess when this is all over and I can find a new doctor I will have them refer me to a new endocrinologist. I will not stay with someone who will not put the health of thier patients in first.

Reading the reviews, I was almost terrified to go to my appointment. I'm glad to report that Dr. Ajala was very lovely. I was VERY impressed that she knew about my complex medical history, before I met her. She explained what was needed to be done and I found her very friendly, compassionate and knew her stuff.

Dr. Ajala has been really helpful in trying to keep my diabetes under control. I've been thrown pretty much every curve ball imaginable, and her ability to be flexible, and constantly change the approach we take is probably one of the only reasons I'm doing as well as I am. She's also really patient and will fully explain why we're doing what we're doing, and why other things won't work.

Dr Ajala was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was late which I understand is an inconvenience however the first thing she said was she didn't have time to make it quick". She speaks to you a if you are below her and tries her hardest to rush you even though you may have actual concerns about your health. She does not treat you with respect. I was disgusted and walked out. This was a few months ago but everything I think about it it does not sit well with me. She should not be resounding for something as serious as people's diabetes health."

I had an appointment with Dr. Ajala and before meeting her, based on what I heard from our close family, they said she was very wise, nice, understanding, and had great knowledge. However, after meeting her for the first time, I was not at all comfortable. Dr. Ajala was not cooperative, she was in hurry and was expecting me to decide in rush from two options of her suggestions. This is concerning someone's health and she expects to make the choice as if it is really simple and easy. I am afraid to say that she was not accepting and open to let one of my parents come in and join with me in the appointment even after my consent. After the appointment, we all left feeling dissatisfied and not happy with her service. I have never felt like this before, this is the first time. Better service is definitely required.

My family physician referred me to this endocrinologist Dr Ajala. I had a worse experience, she does not realize or try to understand the complications of someone's health conditions. Dr Ajala lacks the diagnostic procedure and needs the training in dealing with patients. My wife had the first appointment in person, Dr. Did not bother checking the problem. She sent her for MRI and booked a phone appointment to discuss the results, and today she called hardly for one minute and said there is nothing serious to discuss and when my wife tried to explain the health issue Dr. AJALA simply said sorry there is nothing she could do. I wish, could have given her zero star.

Just being diagnosed with t1d not knowing anything is a scary feeling - the clinic was so good to me every step of the way and made me feel safe. I have been going to Dr Ajala for two years now and have found her, Trish and the LMC team to be very helpful and very proactive. Thank you so much for everything!

Wonderful people. My experience at this facility has been marvelous. The front desk staff are friendly, welcoming and very courteous. Dr Jain is a true caring professional. Really struggling with this place. I have waiting for a while to get in and they have canceled my appointment without telling me. I struggled with even being able to get a hold of them and then trying to talk to them about my healthcare needs was painful too. Now here I am sitting in the parking lot with no appointment today writing this review.... Would recommend finding another office.

I made the decision to switch to a new endocrinologist because of the way I was treated by Dr Ajala. In my experience, she is not empathetic or understanding of the realities of someone with multiple health conditions. Dr Ajala could use some sensitivity training in dealing with patients that have multiple health issues including mental health. Dealing with her is one of the worst experiences I have ever had at an endocrinologist. Very happy to have found someone else who is willing to work with me on my health instead of judging and shaming. Wish I could give zero stars.
