Little Heartprints Academy

We are so happy we found Little Heartprints Academy for our son. They do so many different fun activities that kids really enjoy and help them in their development. The teachers really care and are passionate in everything they do. The owner, Doreen is always there to listen and ensure her team help continue the many developmental aspects we work on at home.

My 2 year old son has been at Little Heart prints Academy since last fall and we have been so so pleased. We love the involvement of practical skills - our son comes home and wants to incorporate them into our days at home. He's learning so much and we see it everyday! The meals provides are healthy, well balanced and top notch. The staff are all so warm and caring along with very well educated in early childhood education which you can tell in the every day activities they do and how they approach a variety of children's behaviors. We love the smaller size of classes and the fact that he will be able to transition into preschool here as well. The space is clean, organized and well thought out with a huge backyard for kiddos to run around and play. Little Heartprints truly is a special place!

Our daughter has been at Little Heartprints Academy for over a year now and we are so happy we made the change. We really liked the curriculum-based approach that challenges the children and prepares them with the skills they will need as they start school.The spaces are clean and we are always amazed at the variety of quality and healthy food that is prepared. Doreen and her staff are amazing with the kids and have created a great community we are so happy to be apart of.I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Little Heartprints to anyone looking for quality childcare.

My child is a genius! Hot cooked meals, Montessori and Reggio education, outdoor playground and gardening, stimulating academic learning with well-trained and personable care-givers and teachers, arts and crafts, and best of all... fun! This all equates to a happy and fulfilled toddler. I can't imagine a better daycare / pre-school setting. Thank you Little Heartprints Academy!

I can’t imagine I could ever a find a daycare that provides a better environment then what Doreen and the staff at Little Heart Prints do. On top of a set curriculum the teachers also work with the students to help cater the curriculum to their interests. I have seen them work on a variety of topics from polar bear habitats to the life cycles of a turtle. They have mindful minutes, practice yoga and teach simple breathing techniques for children to utilize when feeling those big feelings.The food is nutritious and varied. The rooms are clean with rotating, open ended toys to give children space to create. The staff is kind and wildly patient. The class sizes are small which allows all the staff so much opportunity to get to know each individual child and for each child to know each other.Doreen has created a special space and we are so happy to apart of the Little Heart Prints community.

Our daughter has been going here for a few months and we couldn't be happier! She is so excited to go to daycare every day and always talks about how nice all the teachers are. Doreen is very organized and intentional with the curriculum, my daughter learns something new every day. It is such a relief to know that she is so well taken care of.

Our daughter has been attending Little Heartprints Academy since it has opened. We are so happy that we moved her to the Academy. The class size are much smaller so there is more attention provided to your child. The facility is very clean and organized.. The teachers are very engaging with the kids and very professional. The Academy is very much different from other daycares is that they focus on teaching the kids basic foundational skills ( such as activities to help improve and fine and gross motor coordination skills) . The preschool kids are involved in a variety of purposeful activities that help stimulate their logical (learning the alphabet/numbers, learning different topics such as earth day, etc) and creative side (growing vegetables in their garden, yoga classes, etc.). In addition, they also teach the kids in how to manage manage and regulate their emotions by teaching them early techniques of meditation and breathing exercises which is something you don't see in many other daycare facilities. The menu is phenomenal, the kids get a variety of meals that are not only delicious but nutritious and well balanced Overall, we would highly recommend the Academy.

Little Heartprints Academy has been the perfect place for my boys. The teaching is top notch with a Director who has over a decade of experience with the public school system with a focus on early elementary. The rest of the teachers and staff are friendly and competent which gives me the comfort that my kids are getting the skills they require to be successful in future academic environments.The facility is clean and charming with a great outdoor area complete with turf and a garden. Taking into account the children, families and staff, Little Heartprints Academy has created a one of a kind community feel that strikes the right balance between a day home and a large industrial feeling daycare franchise.I highly recommend Little Heartprints to anyone who is looking for a quality childcare experience!

When we first found LHP Academy we knew it would be the perfect place. Doreen was welcoming and understanding and her professional background and outlook on education is progressive, adaptive and truly caters to the children. The teachers all foster an environment of education catering to the kids needs and adapting lessons to the current climate around them. It truly is a school facilitating not only an education but a lifestyle. Everyday my daughter is excited to go to school and everyday she comes home with some new skill, word or behaviour. I cant wait to see her progression over the next few years.
