Smitty's Family Restaurant and Lounge
Best spot for Smitty’s wing night. Highly recommend the dry ghost pepper one for spicy lovers! And the blueberry butter is surprisingly good, it tastes like maple (think chicken and waffles). I also think the lemon pepper here is the best one out of all the Smitty’s, as the dry rub actually sticks onto the chicken. I find the sizes of the wings here to be good and not so tiny.This location has all the best flavours (each establishment seems to be different in selection), the service is prompt and friendly, and they allow you to take home wings.

The hidden gem! The food was delicious, and tasted like home. There is flexibility, so if you got roast beef and citrus chicken grilled fillets like me, you can choose mashed potatoes with gravy as a side dish even if there is rice on the menu. Soups are surprisingly fine too, thick and meaty with a pleasant taste (I got the beef and chicken ones).Again, the flexibility - it works in the evenings as well, so you can order breakfast at midnight and you will still have it tasty regardless of the time of the day!The staff is friendly and kind. Moreover, to leave the restroom, you have to push the door, not pull it, which is really convenient after washing your hands. And yeah, the atmosphere is great - quiet music, air conditioners, privacy and fresh interior. I definitely recommend you to visit this place!P.S. It cost me 75 CAD for two with tips but really worth itP.S.S. not every Smithy's is the same - this one is my personal favorite among ones in Winnipeg.Literally every dish from steak to fries, from soups to salads and from wings to steamed veggies was delicious, so I became a true fan of this restaurant, have been here more than ten times this month, and would come back here again and again

Food was really good! Came exactly as ordered, specific requests and all!Food was super fast to!We had Mary as a server and they were very thorough and helpful!The only downside is the accessibility. The automatic door at the enterance was not turned on, and the bathrooms had only a manual door and if you were to be in a wheelchair, between the door and the tight corner, the female bathroom may not actually be accessible.Everything was clean and tidy throughout the restaurant!

We were pleasantly surprised by the service at this Restaurant! It is encouraging to see that the government is lightening the restrictions in our city, and restaurants are allowed to run their business as long as they follow specific guidelines.Smitty's Restaurant now provides a virtual menu that you can scan on the table once you're seated.The only pointer I'd give for the menu is: Don't forget to SCROLL DOWN." Haha.This instruction seems intuitive

ASK TO BE SEATED IN RACHEL’S SECTION!!! She is kind, compassionate, and goes above and beyond for her customers. I felt like she respected everything I asked for including when I told her about my allergies. She does everything she can to make sure your experience is a positive one. Classic hot wings on a busy nightThere is a large parking lot which we found a spot quickly and easily despite it being very busy.It was a busy night with a fundraiser happening. They did find us a table quickly despite it being nearly full.We had a very comfortable booth. Despite it being super busy we still could talk very easily.Our service was excellent and fast. Food and drinks were quickly brought to the table. The food was fresh and hot.Ample hot water for tea and refills on the cola kept coming. Super friendly staff.We had BBQ, Buffalo ranch and the dry honey habanero wings. The BBQ was a classic wet BBQ sauce which was really good, the honey habanero was decent but the star in my opinion was the Buffalo ranch. The Buffalo ranch at first looked flabby but it was super tasty and tangy. The side of celery and carrots was huge.Overall it was a superior wing night experience we will be back :)

Was a busy Tuesday night as the restaurant was having a fundraiser on the lounge side - but they seated us immediately in a booth by a window on the restaurant side. Enough parking for the restaurant as it is in a strip mall - shared parking lot for all the businesses there. They have wings on special tues, wed and thurs nights. We had 3 lbs of wings - Honey Habanero, Buffalo Ranch, and BBQ. Carrot and celery sticks were crunchy and fresh on the side with ranch dressing. Great flavours. The food came out fast and hot. It was great to see that the food was served quickly with the crowds that filled the restaurant that night - the kitchen would have been very busy with the amount of customers. Its a sign of good management - having enough staff on hand on a fundraising night - keeping everyone happy and well fed. Good planning was evident on our visit to this restaurant. Staff was attentive and drink refills were done in a timely fashion. We will visit again. Thanks.

Smitty's Family Restaurant and Lounge
Ordered a mushroom, cheese and bacon omelette, and asked to change the bacon to ham. Order was brought out, and I was given a burger. Definitely not my order. They fixed it really quickly. Other than the minor mixup, the service was great! one of the best Smitty's in the city!

Smitty's Family Restaurant and Lounge
Wait staff was nice. Food was decent, minus a couple eggs shells in our food. Portions were significantly smaller than other Smittys and the ham from my breakfast was about the thickness of a credit card. The increase in food cost must be hitting this restaurant hard.
