Benefits mentioned there was certain coverage. Once I've tried submitting a claim, I was told to provide certain other information as it was a physician dispensing pharmacy and not a regular pharmacy. Provided this information and waited for months, then was told that they would not cover any prescription dispensed from a physician dispensing pharmacy, even with appropriate paperwork. Prescriptions were needed imminently for my condition so it made sense to pick up at the physician's office. I was only told later that this was a reason for denying the claim - however, this was not written anywhere in the benefits package. I have spent over $7k in prescription medications and none of that was reimbursed.

They never notified me when my works coverage began that they were still billing me for personal insurance. When i called and asked why they wouldnt inform me that they were still going to bill me and refused to refund me they said thats a personal problem". Also wasextremely dificult to cancel my personal plan. I wouldnt recommend there services to ANYONE."

I would like to take the time to say thank you to Sara who first took my call when I inquired about upgrading my insurance plan with Blue Cross. Sara forwarded my call to a very well-informed co-worker named Melanie Simons who explained in great detail the various Blue Cross plans, their benefits and how they would each apply to my own specific needs. Melanie was very patient with me because I had many questions. Not one time did I feel rushed and pressed to make a decision. After it became clear which plan best suited me, I renewed my membership with Blue Cross. Thank you, Sara and Melanie for all your care and attention.

Many thanks to Jamie Storey, the Alberta Blue Cross representative who helped me to understand and upgrade my coverage. I'm a senior. Jamie explained the coverage options for my dental and prescription coverage. Her patient and professional explanation allowed me to make an informed choice and substantially improve my coverage for a modest increase in premium. Wow!! Jamie also helped me understand travel insurance and my new plan also allows me to travel with enhanced protection in my retirement years. Double Wow!! Thank you Jamie Storey. Thank you Blue Cross. I'm fortunate to be a Canadian and an Albertan.

Reasonable cost plans but with poor benefits to other insurance companies. Forced at work with blu cross and I find very poor to other insurance plans from previous employers. Havecompany and personal plan still poor to other companies. Claims are frustrating as always a cost for more forms for same request earlier in diabetic medications, always have to prove cant use metformzn for any medical change in prescription, already they know but make any claim difficult!

In terms of actual plans, they are great and have solid value, anything beyond that is a nightmare. if you ever have to file a claim that isn't bare bones or straight forward get ready for the most infuriating time of your life. I made a claim for orthotics 3 months ago and it is still in process, finally I found time to call and ask what could possibly take this long to be met with the answer of oh you just need these forms" first of all the fact that I had to reach out 3 months later with 0 contact from them should tell you enough

Regarding Dolores Delisle, First off Thank You Thank you , I had a huge dissuasion to make about upcoming changes to my health care needs, at first I found Alberta blue cross group coverage, I was already on non group but it only cover some of my medication, and with ongoing snd new health personal. Issues , I need help figuring it all out !! Through this process I was able to have Dolores Delisle, help me out , I think she could hear my nerves through the phone, she talked me though each teir of coverage , I am on Certain medications that non group did or would cover , I was scared to pay more a month, however in talking to me , I was talking to back and forth, started call her the amazing lady, got into more personal stuff in passing conversation , made my discussion easier to decide, I said to Delores she the kinda a gal I’d go and have coffee with , ( offers open if I’m in Edmonton area ( think that where she was calling from ), she was patient, had some issues with my card , but we sorted it all out, She was the best a helping me with my family’s needs, I looked forward to speaking to her, when I need a question answer, she’d go above and beyond to find a solution, I would give her times I was free or in-between my residents to give her my full attention and , she was right in time ..Thank Dolores, you made our conversation, like 2 new friend hitting off and comfortable . I will definitely be calling in the near future to help my daughter who. (26) set up her health car coverage for her snd my 6 month old grandson and herself. “Unless” There is a way to add them to our coverage?
