First night I checked into my room it smelt so badly of cigarette smoke I had to burn an incense to get rid of the smell. I met my neighbor staying in the room next to me who let me know his room was a smoking room.I had kept my do not disturb" sign on my door for 2 days in a row and both days my room was entered and shuffled about. They said they entered the rooms to change the bedding but the bedding was not changed. The bathroom smells of mold and there is black mold in the tub. The water tastes of mold and I had to buy tap water my whole time out of town. After I checked out they are now trying to charge me for cigarette burns that were already in their blanket. Booo. Do not stay here unless you're desperate. Also there are no locks on your doors beside the knob on the door. Do not plan on feeling safe here."

Clean, quiet, hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. Accomodations are a little old and well used but beds are comfortable. The pine restaurant is attached and offers a 10% discount on meals if you're a guest.

Nice motel, very quiet and the staff was very friendly. Rooms are nice and the bed was comfortable. Location is very good,right off HWY97 I believe. Close to A&W as well as other shopping.

Pine Cone Motor Inn
Today on my way home to Prince George I rolled my pickup 10 mins west of Chetwynd. I walked away and caught a ride with Chetwynd Fire Rescue. I asked to be dropped off at The Pine as I have stayed many times before. I went and grabbed a coffee at A&W while I made some calls to my wife, family and to arrange a tow home for my truck. Unable to get a tow till the morning I went to go get a room. The manager gave me a room for free for the night. I had to hold back tears. Humanity and Kindness is not lost. It's alive and well at The Pine. They now have a customer for life.Much Love,Will W.

Beautiful restaurant in Chetwynd. Wood carvings in a style similar to the local carving competitions. Visited on a Wednesday evening for drinks and dinner with a client. Drinks were quick, service was good. We all ordered the steak, and while the food was delivered quickly, all of us noted that the food was underseasoned and bland. The steaks were cheap quality (despite claiming to be prime aged ribeye) and not very flavorful, although cooked accurately to order. Overall, a mediocre dining experience in an otherwise atmospheric and friendly place. Step up the food and this place would be great.

Rooms were adequate. Beds and pillows were some of the worst I've ever encountered as far as comfort. WiFi was spotty at best and incredibly slow. Locking mechanisms on the outside doors are no more secure than on your bathroom door at home. Room was clean. The restaurant that it shares a parking lot with serves good food.

It makes no sense that the wifi signal would be amazing with full occupancy and extremely weak with half the occupancy or less. It should be stronger when less people are accessing wifi not more. This is every time I'm here and its frustrating to say the least.

Horrible wifi,cleaning person comes in your room if you have Do Not Disturb on your door for more than a day.i don't need my room cleaned every second day!I work away from home and consider my hotel room my home,so I don't need a stranger coming in here that often.Room looks like it hasn't been changed since 1989.

While the staff are amazing, it’s about all the positivity I can muster for this place.The room was absolutely horrid. It smelt so bad. I had to leave to door open. The carpets were so filthy, you didn’t dare walk in bare feet.The bed was fine, I’ve had worse. But Jesus, for 123$ This was way over priced.The resultant, while you received 10% off left little to be desired. Should have eaten at Tim Hortons.

Decent room, friendly staff. The bed was horrible, would collapse near the edges and make you feel like you were going to roll right off. Wifi would connect but wasn't able to even load a web page.
