Urban Fare

Super trendy and aesthetically pleasing grocery store. Reminds me a lot of city markets interior/branding setup. A little bit more expensive for somethings but all in all a great grocery store. Also there is a Starbucks, Canadian tire, and a restaurant all within the same building.

Beautifully designed, inviting and the focus on fresh is experienced the moment you walk through the doors. The selections in each of the core areas is breathtaking. As a cheese lover I found the varieties and choices fantastic. Although this is a drive for me the selection of fresh cut flowers along with the mouthwatering selection of desserts will make a weekly trip more than worth while. The addition of the wine bar and 6 beers on tap certainly makes Urban Fare a unique foodie experience in Calgary.

Clean, well organized and friendly store. Produce and meat sections are small and highly overpriced. The rest of the store - prepared food section and packaged food are really handy and well stocked.

Nice place to have a glass of wine then do some grocery shopping. On a hot day like today (36 degrees) they have AC where as all places I went on 17th Ave doesn't seem to have. I personally would make sure I have AC in the summer and heat in the winter as a restaurant owner.. It's simple service. Their produce was fresh and their deli is full of yummy to go food.

I love Urban Fare's fresh ingredients and I know that I can always get fresh herbs, veggies and fruit when I go there. Urban Fare offers premade, hot food, pizza, buffet salad, Asian food, coffee/tea bars and more. They have a full butcher counter with fresh and cooked food. Their cheese selection is amazing as well as the fresh flower kiosk. Did I mention they have a Starbucks too? THEN you have the actual store! They are a bit more expensive then traditional main stream grocery centres but as you step inside you feel the difference. Urban Fare offers a rewards program and has plenty of specials. It takes a lot of fortitude to walk past their dessert section without actually buying a sumptuous delight! So if you are in the mood to shop or get your food ready to go, give Urban Fare a try today:)

A welcome addition to the Beltline. Prices are comparable to safeway or co-op. However, the staffing is not the best especially at the deli. Staff productivity seems rather low with lot of chitter chatter rather than being focussed on environment and customer service.

Impeccable customer service, from all employees. The most upright friendliest grocery store I have approached. Family friendly your children are welcome to an apple or banana well you shop. Love when your paying for your groceries, a sticker is given to your children , my son just loves that . You feel so welcomed and treated with the most respect . And to mention how much money I saved from points. I give 5 star. And want to thank all employees and what great team work, always have a team member making sure you have found all your items you are looking for, client care is not an issue. The cleanest most organized grocery store!

Nice place in a busy street of 16 Ave. The Chefs prepared the food properly in a sealed container. Freshly baked breads and pastries. Plus, grocery items with lots of selections and varieties.

Very excited for Urban Fare in downtown Calgary. This is one of the nicest grocery stores in the entire city and we are very lucky to have it in the Beltline. The prices are very competitive and are close in comparison to Safeway. From the decor to how the store is laid out it is all very nicely done. Exciting to see a Starbucks, wine bar, poke station, and many other Ready-to-Eat menu items to pick up. Looking forward to going back again soon.

Great selection and delicious food. Mert was amazing and very helpful. He saw that no one was at the buffet register and walked from the other side of the store to assist us. A+ service!!!
