Great Barn with very well trained school horses and friendly staff! They have different level coaches that are all very experienced and focus on safety and producing knowledgeable strong riders. I would defiantly recommend it to anyone wanting to ride for the first time or for someone looking for a professional barn to show at high level.Schellenberg Stables is a no drama barn with a great friendly atmosphere!

My horse and I have been boarding at Schellenberg for over a year now and we couldn't be happier. Angie and Steve assiduously maintain every aspect of the property and the care of the horses is first-rate. The barn and stalls are beautiful...bright and roomy with excellent air flow which makes them cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. There are two gorgeous indoor arenas and a huge outdoor sand ring so there is always somewhere to lunge or ride your horse. The owners take great care in selecting experienced and knowledgable staff and instructors so that everything runs smoothly and have been very accomodating when my horse has required individualized care. The paddocks are lovely and I appreciate that they are rotated regularly so that my horse can enjoy grass turn-out in the warmer months. My horse has really thrived here; he's shiny, happy and healthy. Also, the board is very reasonable when you factor in the central location, quality of the facilities, access to top-notch instruction and the level of personal care that each horse receives. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this barn whether you want to take lessons or are looking for a new boarding facility for your horse :)

Schellenberg is an awesome place to horseback ride! Awesome coaches and awesome, well-trained horses and the owner is very approachable. This barn is a DRAMA FREE barn. No arguing between riders, parents or coaches and everyone is treated with the same amount of respect. I would recommend this barn if you are a beginner and want to get into riding, if you had stopped riding and would like to start back up again or if you already ride on a regular basis and you would like to switch barns.

I board my horse at Schellenberg Stables and it is a fantastic facility. The staff is knowledgable and friendly and the horses are very well taken care of. The barn is drama-free and has a great environment with top notch facilities. My horse and I are very happy at Schellenberg!

Great barn! Friendly atmosphere with well cared for horses. They run a tight ship perfect for anyone looking to further their riding career! Kristen, one of their coaches, is great with my kids. Highly recommend!

When i arrived on the property i walked past many people and was not approached until i asked who i could speak to about possibly taking jumping lessons and continued to give information about my experience where i worked and where i keep my personal horse. The owner then preceded to insult me and my home stable. as rider who trailers off property to many different barns for coaching i was extremely insulted by her rudeness and lack of courtesy towards a potential paying customer.I have never experienced a stable like this in my 13 years a rider. Would not recommend to anyone.

I've been to this barn a few times to watch a friend ride. As an observer, I would like say that the facility is clean. I did notice that some horses did not get time outside to run around and expel their extra energy. The quality of the instructors has decreased over the recent years and some of the very recommended instructors no longer work at the facility. As an observer and as someone who has ridden, these small things speak to the general oversight of the facility. It would appear to me that the owner has shifted their attention to dog breed and simply looks at the facility as a source of income.Yes - its a way to make an income but as a horse lover and rider; I'd like the place I ride at or board my horse to be the owners top priority. I would expect them to regularly turn out the horses and ensure that the teaching staff is equally as happy as the clients/horses.Last note, this is a space to provide open and honest reviews on the facility, etc. Its interesting that the responder to these reviews only comments on those that reflect the facilities flaws and does not provide a thank you" for those that are positive...food for thought."

Great barn!! My grand-daughter learned to ride at this barn. Horses and students welfare always a top priority. Coaches and owners very approachable and always very helpful. Highly recommend this barn to anyone from beginner to experienced riders.

READ ME!!!I have ridden at Schellenberg stables for 15 years. I started out at 7 years old riding the sweetest horse named Bonita. 8 show seasons later and many boarded horses, it is EVIDENT Schellenberg Stables operates at A circuit standards for the best care for all horses! Some of the original horses of Schellenberg: Jackson, Archie, Sugar, and Toby definitely deserve a shout-out for their years of teaching. I’m sure MANY students can vouch for their docile personalities if my 15 years with them doesn’t suffice! These horses are VERY well cared for—meaning no visible ribs and no hay bellys! All horses receive daily turnout that is both accommodating to small heards and private horses as well!This barn is drama-free! IT’S ALL ABOUT THE PONIES! Students, coaches, and parents are all EXPECTED to motivate eachother for the success of all! This is maintained through exceptional management skills of the owners who have run this business wrinkle-free for over 20 years!I grew up on this farm, as did many other girls like me. Schellenberg is an evolving barn that breathes according to their clientele. I started my riding here and haven’t quavered in my love for these horses and people since my first day! From the bottom of my heart I recommend Schellenberg Stables.

Stable not bad, pretty good selection of horses, both arenas are relatively nice, and there is a decent-sized arena outside as well. Decent prices as well. Owner is approachable and nice to chat with, but the biggest issue is with the staff who is not that friendly and coaches are lacking experience and professionalism, more suited for beginners, plenty of room for improvement there
