Michael's service goes above and beyond. I was installing a wood stove where there had been a fireplace so it was tricky to make it work with the existing hole for the chimney. My biggest piece of advice is to contact Michael for a consultation before you purchase anything. He is not only knowledgeable with 40 plus years experience in this field but has a mind for solutions in tight and tricky installations. He saved me hundreds of dollars if not more with these solutions. When I had first contacted him he spent hours over the phone back and forth with me. Downloading manuals for different stoves and informing me of any issues I could encounter when installing them. This was before I had hired him so there was no money in it for him. He really does want to help in any way he can even before any payment is confirmed. Whether you have no idea what you're doing or you have experience doing this type of work his service is invaluable and I recommend reaching out to him. He was available by phone for questions as I was installing the stove countless times. This was absolutely necessary as I navigated through each step to completion. His report is extremely detailed and well put together for the WETT certification. His availability and punctuality is not like any service or contractor I have ever encountered. The year 2021 was challenging for everyone in many different ways, from COVID impacts, to supply chain issues to being able to secure contractors for wood stove installation. Michael made himself available by phone and email to coach us through the installation of our stove. Not only did he provide the technical data and sources for chimney materials, he offered installation tips and encouragement along the way. His report was timely and thorough.....much appreciated.10 stars out of five....highly recommend him for guidance and inspection services!

We asked Michael to do an inspection and provide us with some advice as to what products to purchase to replace an obviously non-compliant wood stove. Michael's help and inspection exceeded our expectations and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services.

I called Mike on a Sunday expecting to set up an appointment sometime the following week regarding an inspection for my woodstove. To my surprise he was willing to come to my house the same day (actually, within an hour - he happened to be in the area & had his equipment with him). Before you know it, he had inspected, taken the necessary photos, collected the required information & actually helped me with a few adjustments to ensure a safe & legal burn. I haven't received my report yet (I'm reviewing the same day) but he ensured I'd have it within 48 hours, worst case scenario. I'll report on what his paperwork consists of when I get it.I had to review Mike right away because he did such an efficient, thorough and professional job (not to mention his kind nature & likeable personality). If you're looking for someone to WETT certify your appliance, DO NOT HESITATE in calling Mike.

Michael provided us with a WETT inspection which our insurance company had requested. He responded quickly to our request and sent us a very complete report including documents and photos . Very nice and knowledgeable man.

Michael was wonderful to work with. I called around to a few Fireplace shops and nobody seemed to be interested in getting back to us in reference to completing a WETT inspection on our wood stove. Michael on the other hand was quick in responding and set up a first consult meeting within a couple of days. He’s knowledgeable, patient in explaining requirements and was a pleasure to work with. With his advice it was easy to complete the required work and he came in for final inspection within days of us contacting him. I would highly recommend him.
