If I could give then negative stars I would.. I ordered something requested express shipping. Unfortunately they used DHL... the company I ordered from gave me a refund for the express shipping " DHL constantly states they don't have it yet. Even tho the tracking number states they do..so tired of this company. How are they even in business"

I was contacted and told I would receive an email. I received nothing and had to drive a half hour to pick up my parcel because they didn't knock, buzz nothing.An award for a total lack of interest in their jobs should be given,it is no wonder robots are used and will eventually replace a useless workforce. Wake the he!! up!

Ordered equipment from the UK. The shipper for some reason chose DHL Express. Package was delayed at the sorting facility in Hamilton Ontario. No notice or reason for the delay from DHL whatsoever.When you try to get any information you have to stay on the phone for an average of almost two hours. If you’re lucky to speak to a human you likely won’t get any useful information.The “international specialists” I spoke to had virtually no knowledge about the documents needed to clear a shipment. The only thing they did was to “look up the status” on their system. If they didn’t feel like doing that they just ended the call.The DHL agents just blindly tried to clear my shipment using the same incorrect documents over and over. That was after the correct documents were sent to them on numerous occasions!When I opted to personally clear my shipment I was told it will cost an additional $300-$500 and probably two more weeks before my shipment could be sent to my local DHL facility! After yet another week of endless hours on the phone I finally managed to get a knowledgeable person on the line. My shipment cleared that same day. (Thank you Yvonne). Now the challenge is to actually get my shipment delivered. Not holding my breath.Frustration so far:-Hours spent on the phone to DHL call center 14.-Emails sent trying to get information on my shipment (unsuccessful) 6.-Redundant documents sent as requested by DHL’s “ Customs specialists” 6.-Delay in getting my shipment so far 1 month.-Damage to my company’s reputation due to non delivery of orders…immeasurable.Judging by some of the other reviews here it seems DHL just doesn’t care about customer service. It’s sad because in the past DHL used to have a very good reputation.Unless DHL Canada starts putting their customers first I won’t be dealing with suppliers who use them.

Update... I have been contacted by a government agency stating that a business account had been opened in my name, I have absolutely no knowledge where my documents are and zero customer care from dhl Halifax, the team-lead mail address ignores my mails. I need to know where my document is so I can rule out that as being the source of the identity fraud. Legal action pending.I was getting an expired passport delivered, I had to get a document stamped by customs to clear it. I kept in touch with the agent let them know my intentions, had to drive over 2 hours to get the stamp, sent a copy of this to dhl and they took it upon themselves to return my package to sender a week after I had provided my stamped documentation even though I had done everything they asked. Zero customer service.

Nothing that hasn't already been said in all of the other reviews, but this is easily the worst business I've ever had to deal with.Every time I buy something from overseas I physically cringe if I find out they sent it via DHL. With every order, its a different issue, but the consistent point is that there is ALWAYS an issue.I'm giving 2 starts because all of my packages have made it to my door (positive), but in every case there has been considerable issue along the way or after delivery.Do better DHL

Horrible service. Had correct address and my package has to wait AGAIN to be delivered. I can't speak to anyone other than a robot and they're saying my address isn't correct even though everything IS in fact correct. Worst place and have potentially lost an expensive package.

I am loathe to give them even 1 star. The absolute worst...We used them twice for high value international shipments, both times were a fiasco resulting in damaged product and missed deadlines. They refuse to acknowledge any damage or fault, and refused my claim.Be warned DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE!!!

It will have to be zero star from me. I'm more surprised at myself for continuing to deal with DHL and expecting a different result. First they demanded $800 !!! duty fee for my personal items. Only for the package to arrive damaged and the box was open on the sides. This caused me so much money and grief. Contacted them and absolutely nothing was done till this day. Now, I show up to pick up another package only to be told it has been shipped back abroad. Their explanation was - we had to get our money back"... Are you kidding me? The joke is on me for using DHL again. Absolutely terrible idea."

My wedding dress has been sitting in this center for over 2 weeks. I contacted them a few times and was told the package would be sent out that day. Nothing. I called again and was told they would open an investigation and get a call back. The customer service over the phone sound way too nice for people who probably get angry customers calling them all day. Still nothing yet.

Two packages have been lost for a total of 5 weeks. They outsource to Loomis which also has a 1 star review. Customer service will say to call Loomis, Loomis says to call DHL. They both sometimes say “it’s out for delivery today” (but it’s not), or “we’ve escalated this to our highest level”, or “we’ve reached out to the dispatch/agent and we’ll call you back in two hours” (they will not). Completely useless, very frustrating, and consistently so.
