Super 8 by Wyndham Ajax/Toronto On

I booked a two night stay for the weekend. I had stayed here before and it was clean and had no concerns.This time, it was dirty, the whole place smelt like weed and cigarettes, stinky in general. Furniture in our room was burnt. Room was dirty. They tried to charge me a marketing fee and tried to tell me was part of the fees, was not disclosed anywhere upon reservation. They refunded me.Walls are paper thin, no security, one staff overnight who was reluctant to settle our noise complaints.Did not use the pool as it looked gross. Online said they had a spa, did not and I was looking forward to that.Will not stay here again. 0 stars if I could. Of note, was raided several times by police, only found this out after staying here. Should have paid the extra for a higher class hotel that would have been clean, had a spa etc

Lovely and reasonably priced hotel to stay. There is a courteous staff, an indoor pool, a gym, and great Continental breakfast. The room was very clean, with very comfortable bedding! Plus Free WiFi and cable tv.

Worst customer service ever! I book via Expedia which went smoothly n had no issues. Got to location went to check in asked for person seamed nice, asked my info then started to process. Advised me that the card on file was not a CC therefore there will be a 500$ damage deposit. Advised that Expedia you don't need one all he has to do is call them as I'm not paying 500$ for a 200$ stay. Refused to do so n charged me the cost without my consent took 3 days to get funds back. Told him to refund me as I'll take my business else, started laughing n advised me good luck. Can't review on the rooms, but from the lobby it was hot n humid n smelt like mold so I can only imagine the rooms.

NEVER STAY HERE!!! Heads up service is horrible!! The managers DO NOT CARE how uncomfortable we were! The PRICE is OUTRAGEOUS!!! Stayed at alot of places including the Wyndham resorts.. never had such a bad experience with the MANAGERS at a resort in my life!!!! This Super 8 needs to be investigated!!!!!!!

At 1:00 am in the morning a fight broke out with some kids staying on the second floor. This went on until 2:45 am I spoke with guests on the 1st floor and 4th floor during checkout. They including myself called and stated our concerns for safety and the noise. Police were called in twice. Then at 3 am women were screaming in the hallway.The young front desk Indian man refused to do anything for us guest at the front desk. The manager wouldn’t make himself available to us. Days later NO one returned our calls about the incident.This hotel allows under age stays and drinking and doesn’t care about its guest.The front desk man said, what do you expect at a hotel. Like this was supposed to be normal.STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS…..

The rooms are extremely dated and definitely not the cleanest. For the amount of money it cost to stay for one night I expect more. The breakfast was decent and they did have a pool those are about the only two things that I could say were positive about my stay.They really need to hire housekeepers that actually know how to clean and update the furniture.

Place is as disgusting as everyone else said. Came here because all other hotels were booked in the area. Checking out immediately. Sheets and couch were dirty. The entire place was nasty. For what they charged for this place, this is extremely hotel. They mentioned that they had breakfast and I thought threw up thinking of a place this nasty making and distributing food.

Do not stay here. Arrived to the hotel. Had a valid booking and confirmation. The first room was soiled with towels and linen scattered. Immediately went back to the front desk to let them know. They were nice about offering a room reassignment but remarked that the room was probably clean. The second room had a fridge, garbage and garbage bags visibly scattered throughout. Did not even step foot in this room. Went down to the same reception staff member and supervisor and said the following room was dirty as well. I showed them a picture but did not enter the room. At this point I told them I do not intend to play room roulette to see what is clean and what is not. This is not a matter of the room being a little dusty, but rooms that have been occupied and left as is for incoming travellers. Did not stay here due to health and sanitation reasons. Requested a refund, which the manager denied. Because of this experience I will actively avoid Wyndham and Super 8 facilities. Still awaiting a resolution to this.Disgraceful experience.
