BC Cancer – Abbotsford

My son suffered through two types of cancer in the past year. We found Dr. Almahmudi to be conscientious and caring. If she said she would come to talk to the family, she did that. We were impressed with her.

The staff here are courteous and respectful - they made a terrible situation a little easier to handle while my mom underwent treatment. Thank you to Dr Shaikh and staff. :)

I have been a patient at the Surrey Cancer center and in Vancouver and Langley. It was only when my cancer metastasized that I went to the Abby cancer center. I cannot say anything negative about my ongoing support from the agency. Everyone is so nice and helpful, they remember me, and never treat me like a science puzzle they need to solve.

Caring staff, clean facility

First let me say the staff are a friendly and caring . What makes issue is with this clinic is how they are able to constantly bump ones treatment to the flooding week. This goes against what the oncologist wants, it makes the patient feel like the life they are fighting for isn’t worth it as since they are stage 4 they don’t matter. Trying to get a hold of any department such as chemo and booking is next to impossible. They give little to no explanation why chemo is delayed other than we don’t have room for you this week. I’m sorry but when people are trying to fight and get better this doesn’t help their body or mind.

I see dr Paul galbraith and he is an excellent oncologist. He takes his time explaining everything in great detail. I’ve never felt rushed or dismissed with him. He is very knowledgeable in the field of lymphomas
