New College

Don't live here if you can, can you imagine the heating system to rise the temperature to over 30 degree? It's not even sleepable

Other than a very basic bed the facility was dirty and common food prep area filthy

I’m a new college international student and I just went there asking them for an invoice for one of my old tuition fees since I can’t view it on my acorn account, the woman who was “helping” me was very unprofessional, rude and just gives me that “I don’t really care” attitude. I have a feeling that she intentionally didn’t give the invoice to me because I kinda “confronted” her about her attitude at the beginning. And I know she could have, at the very least, shown the official tuition fees to me because after I left I searched on google for a few minutes and found out the official tuition fees of the year which I needed. And at the end she want ME to write down the email account I need to contact for my request because I can’t take a picture of it. In reality, she should’ve been the one who wrote down that information for me because she’s the one supposed to be helping me. I do hope new college doesn’t think students are somehow below them or whatever. You guys are not even my professors, you guys are there to serve student’s needs not the other way around. I say this because it’s increasingly difficult to go there and left with a pleasant encounter, especially as an international student.They always give you attitude one way or another despite the fact that international students pay majority of the tuition fees at uoft ($60000 CAD per year btw). This also goes with the academic advisors who treats students with no respect whatsoever (talking about you Paul)(Belittled me back in both 2016 and 2018). Absolute scumbag. I really should have wrote this review or file a complaint a long time ago but I was busy so I didn’t bother. Today’s absolute insulting encounter was the last straw for me. If you see this review and have similar feelings please give a thumbs up.

Perfect location for students majoring in Computer Science and Engineering. Walking distance to most classrooms and labs. Residence rooms are decent sizes and the dining hall is awesome with lots of choices, probably the best dining hall among all UTSG colleges.
